Exactly, that's why it was always asinine for people to be like "this place is just full of ex-WWE guys", well yeah, that's because WWE had enough wrestlers to fill 4-5 different promotions just to keep them from other promotions.
And it was almost for nothing because aside from a few new hires, rookies and homegrown talents, they still mostly depend on the same 20 or so people they were already using 5-6 years ago. They didn't really keep a lot of people from the hoarding period.

I loved NXT but the only recent successes have been Bianca and Riddle (Damien Priest to a degree). Everyone is to be determined or DOA or already endeavored/left the company.
I am curious if call ups are more ‘successful’ in 2.0 now that it’s more aligned to main roster and the higher ups are more involved
The call ups will have to be more successful now or WWE will eventually run out of talent to use.
They've pretty much purged NXT of all the indy darlings and now just have their developmental folks working there that they can mold the way they want, including the stupid alliteration stage names they insist on giving all their new talent.

It would be a great match because Kenny would work his ass off to make it a classic. Dude's work ethic is unreal. Roman when motivated can have a great match but most of the time his matches aren't anything special. Kenny would definitely get the best out of him though.
