Honestly, Kofi had a good run. I just hope this puts an end to his shucking and jiving, and he comes back more serious without the BS pancake tossing.

I actually hated seeing the "Champ" doing that shit.

I liked Kofi as Champ. Just hated he wasnt a serious Champ.

Well they wasn’t gonna change his character especially with all the merch they sel. I personally don’t see it as cooning just goofy which is on par with their whole gimmick.

What New Day does is no different than DX giving out glow sticks.

....and This!!!!

I knew that Kofi was going to lose as soon as Smackdown was going to FOX....

I mean...this is FOX..WS needs a hero, but to lose like this and not giving Kofi a match worthy of a champion??

Shit, they've been keeping Bobby Lashley away from Brock for a grip too....WTF?

Bolded for emphasis. Vince likes using Lashley in a Blacked storyline with Lana and Rusev(He deserves better:smh:) being cucked. Vince stays an asshole:smh:. The day he no longer has any input on storylines will be a great day for the entire business. It is sad in his case that he will either have to be forced out or die. Long live competition.

For real Vince - FOR REAL:angry::angry::angry:?

I am surprised that nobody felt this way with that bullshyt Velveteen match when he dropped the title or when Cedric dropped it to Buddy Murphy! Very little offense in one sided matches. I get putting someone over, but you have to look strong in the end, hell even Daniel Bryan got SOME offense in!!! AJ Styles, Seth Rolllins... But Kofi will go back to: <Michael Cole voice> '... just wants to have fun...'

I'm to tired to look for gifs to show how I feel about this..

Watch i bet New Day turns on him next week
I think it will be the opposite. Kofi should turn on them. He should take himself more serious.

Their act is stale anyways. There needs to be a shakeup.

Looking back, Kofi's Wrestlemania moment was the most exciting part of his story this year. The long reign was just an addon.

I wish he got in a little offense last night but I don't disagree with putting the title on Lesnar.

He elevates whichever WWE Championship he holds.

With Velveteen it still took interference from 3 other men for him to lose and it took them interfering more than once as well.

You gotta look at it from Wwe perspective.....all they care is about merchandise.....to me it’s smarter to make them heel...Kofi to me would get buried as a solo act just like he did prior to New Day taking off.

Basically on Smackdown...unless you're bigger than life (Rock), Big (Brock & Braun), white and/or Blonde (Charlotte...Becky "the Champion" didn't even get the win and main camera time)...you will not be the face of FOX's Smackdown.

Kofi aside, they did not elevate other wrestlers. They had Orton (i think he's first in line for Championship), AJ Styles (Current Champion), Roode and Ziggler (Tag Team Champions) job for Braun on a show to start a new storyline with a non-wrestler (Tyson Fury)

Whatever happens with New Day/Kofi, I hope Kofi ends up on Raw. Since WWE is making Smackdown their A show, the highest ceiling for him would be the US/IC title if Lesnar is still in the picture.

On Raw, I can see Kofi compete for the Universal Championship.

Good thing is, unlike Jinder Mahal, Kofi's reign was well received by the fans, so I don't see him relegated to jobber status after dropping the title to Brock.

I can definitely see him challenging Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, or whomever holds the Universal Championship.

Besides, I like the idea of Kofi one day holding that title, since it was named for the WWE "Universe"...Kofi is the "people's champ," it would be fitting if he one day got a run with the Universal championship.

Man Cedric & Dream are completely different situations from Kofi.

From the looks of things Bray/The Fiend is gonna get a long reign.
