It'll be interesting. Nxt's ratings went down week 2 as well for the same reason. Next week's ratings won't tell us the story. Let's see what things look like 6 months from now for ALL of these shows. Will also tell us about the move to Fox for Smackdown, the new commentary teams etc.

I have a feeling Riho is going to go over Nyla Rose. Too many people are expecting Rose which means it's not gonna happen. Too predictable. It would make better sense to put the belt on Riho. She's more experienced and is a better worker. Rose is too green to be the Champ right now. I haven't been impressed with one match she's had thus far. Riho on the other hand has been very solid. As Champ Riho can work some solid matches with Shida, Baker, or Priestly. Ultimately it's going be Shida and Priestly that take the division to the next level.
AEW needs a recognizable female to lead the division. There work rate will eventually get everyone over but the casual male fan wants to see eye candy first. Allie is bad and Adam Cole's chick Dr. Britt Bakers is attractive. Hopefully they can get someone from WWE to bring some name recognition to the division.
I don't believe in bringing in eye candy for the sake of eye candy. They got to be able to work. The company wants to be sports centric so what will give the division credibility is the work put into the matches not how attractive someone looks. Keep the Alexia Bliss types in WWE. Honestly the only person I would want from WWE is Asuka. When Tessa Blanchard's contract with Impact expires I'm sure she'll make the jump to AEW. It would be a huge get for AEW considering Tessa is like the best women's wrestler on the planet right now.
i've had issues with wrestling and black representation
cody brings up a great point black ppl dominate in every sport (except maybe swimming) but in wrestling they are always 'thugs', dancers or just characterlesss athletes (when black athletes have the most personality)

WWE went back in time to the Attitude Era with Lana and Lashley. Lashley did palm that ass. If I was Rusev I would be a little mad, because Lana looks like she was in to it a little too much.
Lana used to go out with the Old Spice dude (Not Crews) before Rusev and was in rap videos.....so...she's no stranger.

I disagree, I think the roster for NXT is too shallow for a 2 hour show. And after how they made Velveteen drop the belt in a VERY one sided match, you can see Vince's influence.

Not really. Looks like they're going to integrate 205 into NXT. Plus they're a lot of NXT talent that haven't made a tv debut. Brennan Williams now Dio Madden was tagging with Shane Strickland before they made him an announcer.
NXT was 1 full hour on the network, no commercials. Now they're moving to tv. 30 minutes of the 2 hours will be commercials so they're really only adding 30 more minutes of live action to the show.
Has WWE ever done an interracial love story before? I'm scratching my head trying to come up with one from the past and can't.
All this seems like punishment for Rusev and Lana breaking kayfabe a few years ago and acknowledging they were married in real life.
Even Rusev's new look seems like a rib.
