More on what happened...

UPDATE: F4WOnline reports that Lawler had was appeared like a seizure and he was carried back to the backstage area. The crew is cleaning the floor; Lawler may have vomited and he did fall off his chair.

The report says that backstage during the commercial break, people were "running all over the place seemingly not knowing what to do."

ORIGINAL: Arda Ocal of The Score has noted on Twitter that Jerry Lawler looks to have collapsed while doing commentary at Raw. Ocal posted:

Something is going on with Jerry Lawler right now at the commentary table... It looks like he collapsed. Not part of show.

He is being carried away by personnel to the backstage area. He appeared unconscious as he was being carried.

I sincerely hope Jerry is OK. When I looked over he was hunched over convulsing in his seat and collapsed, then multiple ppl carried him out

damn..if this wasnt serious they probably wouldve played it off as something cm punk did(hiding in the audience behind the announce table then hitting lawler in the back of his head)

Jerry Lawler collapses at Raw, receiving CPR

By SLAM! Wrestling Staff

MONTREAL - During Monday Night Raw, announcer Jerry "The King" Lawler collapsed and ringside, was stretchered to the backstage area and is receiving CPR.

"Jerry passed out here at ringside," said a distraught Michael Cole to the audience, Lawler's seat vacant beside him. "He was stretchered to the back."

"He is receiving medical attention as we speak. They are performing CPR. And again, this is not, not part of tonight's entertainment," confirmed Cole.

SLAM! Wrestling's Patric Laprade is at Raw at Montreal's Bell Centre, and filed this report:

"Lawler grabbed his arm, collapsed and his face was blueish. Something like 7-8 people rushed to over to him, lifted him backstage. The medics were clearly told by the production to go backstage as they didn't want anything to happen in front of the fans.

"Right after, people were running everywhere, not seeming to know what to do exactly. Cole looked like he saw a ghost and seemed very shaken.

"The staff cleaned the floor near the announcers booth, I'm not sure if that's because he threw up or not.

"There was definitely a moment of panic during those few minutes.

"During every commercials, the fans here are chanting 'Jerry.' They didn't tell us anything here and what Cole said on TV about Lawler getting CPR in the back and that not being part of the show didn't air live."

Twitter is going wild with the news, including a tweet from Lawler's long-time broadcast partner, Jim Ross: "I'm shaken by the news of my friend Jerry Lawler's medical emergency in Montreal. Hands shaking. Prayers for the King. I feel helpless."

WWE.com posted a huge news alert: "During the tag team match between Kane & Daniel Bryan and The Prime Time Players tonight on Raw, viewers may have noticed members of the audience and WWE production team staring toward the commentary booth, as well as the absence of Jerry 'The King' Lawler’s voice. WWE.com has learned that the WWE Hall of Famer collapsed at the announcers' table and was tended to in the locker room area by WWE medical staff. Lawler was then taken from the arena to a medical facility in Montreal."

Through its Twitter account, WWE announced that Lawler is going to have a CAT scan at the hospital and "more responsive" and "reacting to lights."
The concluding segments of Raw have aired without commentary.

:yes::bravo:

Cena brought it with that promo and that's what they've been missing with these promos with Punk, you can't let Punk just go off on someone and then not let them respond in kind. I think Punk wins and debuts the new belt since this now revolves around him "finding himself", and ditching Cena's belt would be a start in that direction. As for Lawler it's great that he's stabilized but im still praying for him.

Damn now I feel bad that I had the show on mute. :smh:

I didn't know what was going on. I looked up at the TV at the last minute and noticed they had Cole talking like something serious had just happened.

Cena cut a great promo =

Punk cut a basic promo =

Lawler seems to be doing better after his health scare =:please:

Promo wise Punk was a by the numbers heel. Nothing special. As for Cena it was too much and it wasn't great. I felt some of what he said such as the line about Punk making the most noise when they shut off his mic. I also really liked when he stopped Punk from responding and told him he was only concerned with kicking his ass. But the shit about Macho Man's elbow and the color of his trunks was stupid. It seemed like Punk was wearing the colors as a dig at Bret Hart and the elbow has been a tribute.

To be honest, I dunno why Jerry is wrestling in the ring anyway. He's too old for that shit and he's the best colorman in wrestling today... They absolutely didn't need him in a match with CM Punk and Ziggler.:smh:

Sometimes I really think these wrestlers have a deathwish and wanna die right in the ring.:smh:

Next up... Ric Flair!!
:smh:

Get better Lawler I wish a speedy recovery Lawler is one of the most important legends from the southern territory days of the 70-80's. Down south rasslin was Lawler, Flair, Rhodes, and JYD. Once again pull through Jerry.
