Who you telling. Brock Lesnar had it all to be THE GUY in the company, but he just couldn't shake the fact that his heart was at home. Hopefully now that he has a light schedule and chased his dreams so to speak, his heart can once again be in wrestling. When that man gives it his all, you are guaranteed to be entertained.

I think almost breaking his neck also had him shook up even if he did wrestle for another year before quitting.

Cena is really in Brock's spot. When Brock flaked, they had to choose between Cena and Batista and they went with the younger guy despite Batista's better political connections. He's not as big as he was and he's older now with some very public health issues so his window for being "The Man" has closed but he can draw some ratings and sell some merch.
That said, it's still the same shitty booking so I refuse to get my hopes up.

I would say Batista's injuries had more to do with Cena becoming the man, because you know as well as i do if HHH is behind you then you're guaranteed to go to the top. With Lesnar coming back we get to see just how badly creative fucks up this time since they can't seem to help themselves.

I forgot to mention his injuries too. Between that and his age, they saw Cena as a better choice even though Batista was the hotter guy coming off beating HHH in three straight ppvs, including WM.
The funny thing about the HHH stamp of approval, even when you have it (Sheamus) you still have to go the long way and you will still get the yo-yo booking like everyone else.
Seeing how boring they're making Sheamus makes me think they really can fuck up Brock.

I think they just stop making him do it against big guys like Big Show, Kane and Taker.

I don't even see him facing those guys at this point. Cena and probably Rock will be his opponents. Punk better be trying to get in on some of this because this is where the money is going to be.

I've been remiss to not say anything about Kamala and his current health issues. He now has to have his right foot amputated. He's already lost his left.

Too bad really.

Evan Bourne's Foot Injury Is Career Threatening
Date Added: April 04, 2012
Story By: Steve Carrier

Evan Bourne sustained a midfoot fracture dislocation in an undisclosed accident last week as his foot was broken in four spots and dislocated in five. According to the official website of Silverman Ankle & Foot Practice, his injury, also known as a LisFranc fracture dislocation, is a career threatening injury to athletes, even when treated well.

The website says, "It is unknown whether or not Bourne will return to wrestling after this injury but one thing is certain – it’s going to be a long road to recovery."

Wait .... Evan Bourne still has a deal with WWE

Epico Rants
Date Added: April 04, 2012
Story By: Steve Carrier

- One-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Epico posted the following rants on his Twitter today. It sounds like he's unhappy about being left off the WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view:

"Can you believe this @LaRosaMendes ? Every single WWE title was on The Wrestlemania PPV. But the WWE tag champs get the Pre-show"

"I thought this was WRESTLEmania.... No CONCERTmania... Who did Flo-rida and that MGK beat??? I guess they beat the tag champs"

"Not only the tag champs get left out of wrestlemania... We weren't even on Raw and it looks like we won't be on smackdown either..."

"and since when is Flo-rida, MGK and that menounos chick relevant to a wrestlemania????"

Tell us how you really feel

But in all seriousness, he is dead right on all points

From what his son is saying publicly, he's still in relatively good spirits.

Some of the best shoot interviews you can hear are Kamala's.

When I was little I lived 60 miles from memphis and I remember on wrestling they played that video of Kamala coming out the "jungle" which I later find out was Jerry Lawlers or Jerry Jarretts back yard. That scared the shit outta me. I hated that Vince turned him into a joke.

Evan's not fired yet and he's injured but I expect them to let him come back and then fire his ass.

Epico and them are either working an angle (WWE loves working social media now) or their following the Carlito formula on how to get fired. We'll see soon enough.

That shit was scary as hell. They aired it when he came to Georgia/TBS. I didnt realize how big he was until he squashed the Barbarian, who was being pushed as a bad ass dude.
I didn't like them have him play up the scared angle with Taker or turning him face. Once you take a big monster like Kamala and make him a comedy act, it's hard to take him serious again unless he damn near kills a guy.

Example: Kane and the Big Show.

Hard not to agree with Epico. They had time to squeeze in a fuckin' Broadus Clay dance number and let Flo-rida perform two songs, but the tag team titles can't make the main show? Flo-Rida, Diddy and MGK bringing out the Rock and Cena was wack as fuck anyway.

Rosa Mendes continued ranting on Twitter Wednesday about Epico and Primo being left off the WrestleMania 28 pay-per-view. As noted before, these comments from she and Epico are all part of the storylines:

"The dark match at #Wrestlemania isn't televised, we are Tag Team Champions!! I'm livid!!! Get it? Got it? Good!!"

"We are the most entertaining, athletic team in #WWE!!! People want to see us and wish they could be us!!"

"The fact that Maria Menounos had a #Wrestlemania match and we didn't. Disgusts me!! We are tag team Champions! It doesn't make any sense!"

End of that story

 damn tell 'em how you really feel Big Poppa Pump

Scott Steiner has continued the Twitter rant he began earlier this week after he was released from TNA. Steiner has focused most of his dislike for Hulk Hogan, though he takes shots at Garett and Eric Bischoff and claims TNA controls Sting's Twitter account as well. Check out the tweets below:

When these assholes got control they tried to takeover everybodys twitter page

His ex-wife said he was gay right!!!..hhmmm who brought in Orlando Jordan

HOLY SHIT!!!

This is wild as hell, but with Bischoff running the show and Hogan just being the masthead does not surprise me one bit.

Pushing Garrett is the most asinine thing i have ever watched happen in TNA.

Everybody knows daddy's pulling the strings in this one and everything else.

Damn i miss Crockett.

Dixie has no idea what to do anymore and just let the asylum run wild with Pritchard, Hogan and definitely Bischoff.

NoDQ.com >WWE Wants a Top Star in Marine 3
Posted by Steve Carrier on 04/05/2012 at 04:57 PM

- WWE Champion CM Punk, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, JTG and Kofi Kingston have all been rumored to replace Randy Orton in WWE's The Marine 3. Because the movie is co-promoted with 20th Century Fox, WWE wants a big named star in the movie and the number of guys at or near Orton's level are limited. The movie begins filming in June so we should hear something soon.

I thought they wanted a big named star ??? shit when was the last time we saw JTG on RAW or Smackdown ?

He seems like a good enough kid and he's got something but he's clearly not ready for this kind of exposure especially when you want to send guys with a ton more experience to OVW for training and RVD is sitting at home for weeks with on storyline.

This is why the lack of a territory system hurt wrestling. They could send Garrett to a different part of the country and work with different styles to get better. Now he's not Erik Watts bad, but he's not ready for a singles push.

Another thing that they don't do is make a tag team with a veteran wrestler and an up and coming wrestler so they can learn the business.

But they can still do it with the indies, like they're doing with OVW. They wanted to send Jesse Neal to OVW, that's why he quit. He figured he earned his spot on the main roster and he didn't want to move to Kentucky. They cut Murphy (known in Southern indies as Mikael Judas), saying he needed more seasoning. I used to watch him and Gunner (Phil Shatter) every two weeks for NWA Charlotte and he was the better of the two. In fact, Shatter/Gunner (who had improved a lot) was the lesser of the three guys in their faction. So when they do that kind of stuff but give all this time to a very green guy like Garrett, they hurt TNA and they hurt Garrett. Erik Watts wasn't very good but he got a lot better later but the damage was already done.

His last name hurts him more than anything. Throw on a mask and go overseas or to Mexico and ply your trade for a year or so. THEN come back. This is why I liked what MVP did. He wanted to expand his game so he learned a whole new style over in Japan.

As far as tag team wrestling goes, it pisses me off that both the WWE and TNA have all these wrestlers sitting around not doing anything when they could be paired up and made into tag teams. TNA does it to make room for Sting or Hogan on TV, but TBH the WWE has at minimum 3 times the television time TNA does and should take wrestlers and put them together and put them on TV.

 I thought when they did the injury angle with Gunner, that was the time to take him off tv and send him around to learn. That's what Rick Steamboat did with his son before he went to WWE developmental. He let George South train him. He sent him to Harley Race's school. He let him work a lot of indies. Then he sent him to Japan to train there. If Garrett's serious, he needs to get away from his dad and any company his dad works for and make his own name.

I'm a tag team wrestling fanatic and this is almost as bad as any time recently. I thought TNA rushed ending the Morgan/Crimson tag team. Their matches with Samoa Joe and Magnus have been really good and stiff. Instead of rushing the MachineGuns into a title shot, they should have let Morgan/Crimson and Joe/Magnus have a cage finale at Lockdown and then split Morgan/Crimson.
TNA is bad but WWE having only one real tag team is a damn shame. They have 4 hours of tv, plus NXT and they can't put together some guys? They don't have to hire a single new person, just take some guys, like Hawkins and Reks, and make them a tag team.

TNA does seem to believe in the "young guy/veteran" teams, they had Ink Inc and The British Invasion, but they just aren't doing it now and it's not a coincidence that they stopped pushing tag teams when Bischoff got there.
I hope they have the good sense to make Daniels and Kazarian a real team. What else are they doing with them?

Tag team wrestling is really a lost art. I think the WWE cannot make money off of tag teams so they stick to single wrestlers.

That's what they think exactly but if they did it right, they could make money. How is it Mid South, Crockett, the AWA, ECW, and every other company, including them, TNA and ROH, can make money off tag teams but they can't? Are they making any money off Tyson Kidd or Derrick Bateman or Justin Gabriel now?

Just getting started watching Impact! from last night and after the Hogan stuff, the show started strong with a good match between Angle and Hardy and the Bully Ray-Austin Aries fight. I think they're making a mistake giving away Roode vs Anderson for the first time, though.

I don't know what is sadder. That Ric Flair is holding a cheap WWE commemorative version of the Big Gold Belt or that he doesn't even have the real NWA version anymore.

I'd prefer WWE have the NWA belt and display it than some random company he owes money to or someone that buys it from Highspots.

I hate, HATE, that Hogan has the original Big Gold Belt. If he had any shred of integrity, he would give it to Flair.

I have noticed though that Flair seems to be getting more endorsements and mainstream recognition since he retired than he ever did as a wrestler in the NWA, WCW, or WWE/F.

Why in the hell does Hogan have it? Man if I had the means I'd buy it and give it back to Flair crying like a woman with joy while doing so.
