Brian Kendrick is gone from TNA, ending his second run with the company. A TNA source cited that Kendrick was released.

Kendrick, who had been a pretty pushed X-Division talent last year, disappeared off TNA TV a few months back. Last month, we had heard word that Kendrick was departing but TNA sources stated he was still with the promotion.

Well, he's free and clear now.

Kendrick is already taking some independent dates and is set for a March FWE event. in New York City.


I don't have a problem with letting him go if they aren't using him but at least have him put some of the younger guys like Zema Ion and Tony Nese over on the way out the door. TNA always seems to miss opportunities for their younger talent like this.

- As noted before, Drew McIntyre is set to be re-packaged with an "arrogant playboy" gimmick soon. According to fans at this weekend's SmackDown live event in Honduras, Drew appeared to be acting more sexually and flirting with male fans in the crowd, even blowing kisses at some. He also stopped in the middle of his match against Ezekiel Jackson to comb his hair. Drew still lost the match to Zeke.

- The battle royal to crown CM Punk's WrestleMania 28 opponent on last week's RAW Supershow was an idea from Vince McMahon at the last minute. While WWE officials knew for months they were going with Punk vs. Chris Jericho, they did not know how they would get there.

There was one idea discussed where Jericho would insult Punk so bad that Punk would demand the match but it was decided that was too similar to Triple H and The Undertaker's storyline. It was also argued that fans just paid to see the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view to determine WrestleMania main events and having Jericho throw insults to get a title shot would devalue the Chamber to fans.

Former WWF star Chyna will be starring in an adult film parody of Marvel Comics' "She-Hulk" character.

Vivid's official announcement read:

Chyna plays She-Hulk aka Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner, best known to most of the world at The Hulk. When her emotional state is sufficiently high, she is the strongest woman in the world. She has been a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for hire, the Defenders, Fantastic Force and S.H.I.E.L.D. She-Hulk is also a highly skilled lawyer who has served as legal counsel to several of the superheroes when needed.

Joining Chyna in "She Hulk XXX" are Gracie Glam, Lexie Belle, Jennifer Dark, Nicole Aniston, Alexis Texas, Mark Wood, Alec Knight, Alan Staford, Ryan Driller, Dale Dabone and Eric Masterson.

The film is already in production in Los Angeles.

I know they don't listen to me but they should absolutely not have Rock and Cena face each other in the same ring until the week before Mania.
In fact, I would have had Cena miss this show, like Rock wasn't on last show.

I don't know about that, it seems to me that there is a whole new level of bitchness that has crept into the lock room. You mentioned Hayes complaining back in the day but he's Michael P.S Hayes, the people complaining today aren't even on that level.

Great opening segment by both but i felt like Jericho missed a perfect kill shot when Punk said Jericho was never the man like he's "THE MAN". What any star from the past can bring up is how these main event superstars are on the same level the oddities were in the 90's. It's sad but true being a main eventer now is the equivalent of being a mid carder during the Attitude Era.

I agree that Vince seems to hate or at least underestimate women's wrestling and tag wrestling but I doubt it has anything to do with TNA. Vince just doesn't watch anything else. He didn't watch WCW or ECW so I know he doesn't watch TNA. He doesn't think those things draw (despite plenty of evidence that they do) and prefers pushing single wrestlers that have a "certain look" (White, muscular). With no one to fight for them, those divisions suffer.

T.N.A. used to have the better tag division but they have just as many teams as W.W.E. has now; Joe & Magnus, Crimson & Morgan (who are on their way to splitting) and The Gunz.

While The Attitude Era wasn't perfect I don't remember seeing this much misuse of talent. Half of their roster is jobber-status.
