OH. MY. GOD. Classic.
You can't someone from this area that's 30 and up and ask about Dusty getting jumped by the Horseman on Independence Blvd.

I'm not sure what you mean by he wasn't employed. He's been in WWE's development league since 2007 along with most of the other cats from NXT.

They clearly wanted him to win the NXT competition but he didn't win. That didn't stop them from using him as a manager, and putting him in matches with and for the Miz. They used him more than the dude who actually won NXT.

I do agree that him being drafted was dumb.

Why even put him in NXT if you know you want him? Just bring him up and give other guys a look.
They keep making their competition shows irrelevent whether NXT or Tough Enough.

Yes he has been in FCW but according to the storyline he was around because of the personal services contract that he had with the Miz and therefore not a WWE employee again according to the storyline.

That was my point. Going by the storyline, he worked for Miz not WWE so he shouldn't have been available for the draft.

About TNA

I do NOT mind them giving Gunner a push, if that's what they're doing (hard to tell with this company) but they're doing it way wrong.
I've watched this guy up close here in Charlotte indies as Phil Shatter and he's very good and has had great matches with Adam Pearce and Davey Richards but just a couple weeks ago he was the dunce who got outsmarted by Eric Young and now he's beaten Sting and Ken Anderson? How about giving him and Young some airtime so they can have good matches so people can see he's for real. He's had one good win over Christopher Daniels and that's been forgotten.
They're doing a much better job with Crimson, though I think he should have lost to Joe.

Another Classic

Yes!!!!
This was the shit that got Dusty fired for booking an angle with blood at the time when WCW had a "no blood" rule. They let him work the Clash and the ppv (Starrcade) and that was it. It was off the WWF and the polka dots.

Edit
Dusty did it to get the Warriors heat. Turning them against Sting and Luger didn't work, people cheered for them. People cheered when they beat the newly turned Midnight Express for the tag titles. So Dream figured bloodying him up would work. It didn't and they turned them back before he winter was up.

C/S

Whoever is booking/writing for them just seems to be winging it. They have a lot of talent and no direction. I would love to see them humble themselves and bring in Heyman to fix this mess...although I know they aren't going to do it.

I remember that story too but a number of people have confirmed the Road Warrior story, including Dusty himself. Not saying it didn't play any part of it because him and Ric were not getting along at the time but he gave them an excuse with this move.

I agree that Crimson should have lost to Joe.If anything Gunner should be getting the push that Crimson is getting especially after they put the TV title on him.Crimson does nothing that stands out in my opinion. And I also see that they are giving Joe the Abyss treatment booking in dumb, meaningless feuds and losing for the purpose of doing nothing other than destroy his character.

I thought that he also was gone due to a power struggle between him and Flair and that Dusty had planned for Flair to lose the belt to Rick Steiner.Dusty left,Flair took over which led to his great feud with Terry Funk.

I understand the whole "Wrestling Matters" theme you got going. If this is the case, for your Destination X PPV, while you're in the habit of bringing back old X-Division stars, it would be of great interest to your company to reach out to beg this guy to be on the card..................

Sincerely

A "Wrestling Matters" fan.

WWE Not Using Zack Ryder
Date Added: June 16, 2011
Story By: Steve Carrier

- The fact that Zack Ryder would have some vocal fans at Monday's RAW in Long Island, New York was no secret going into the show. This was talked about internally and the decision was made to have him perform on Superstars only. People within WWE were upset that Ryder wasn't used with the feeling that he's got himself over with fans using social media and without a normal WWE push, and he wasn't even put on RAW because the company knew he would get a bigger reaction than some of the stars they push on TV.

In the words of the Miz, "Really, Really"

Was the PPV shitty? I wasn't interested enough to actually watch it. I knew Truth wasn't going to win and the Obama promos they were showing on Raw were lame as fuck.

And any word on who the Raw GM will be. Cole said he was going to show up tomorrow night. Thank god.

All I really tuned in for is for the last match I saw streaming...R Truth carried big doofus all night and the finish was ultra lame with a kid distracting Truth with a drink thrown in his face

Didn't see the PPV but reading the recap that shit sounded lame as fuck. Especially that Truth Cena match. A damn drink bruh? I hope it just reads lame and was actually better than it reads. They just officially halted Truth's heel push.

I hate TNA but i'll give them this. They atleast make bold moves. Maybe its because they don't have shit to lose but WWE became the #1 brand by making bold moves and now they're just going with this lame straight path shit.

That ppv was lame as fuck. If it's not one of their big 4 ppv's I guess they just dont give a fuck as far as promotion goes. I know WWE or Impact Wrestling would'nt do this but they should have a ppv every other month. As quick as they gave R-Truth a push they killed it quicker it seems. But on the other hand Alex Riley did win last nite and i'll be interested in how they proceed with him.

I agree. I think Crimson has a tremendous upside but he's still green so let him work tags and Xplosion and farm him out to indies and use Gunner (or Murphy, another guy I'm familiar with and he's fucking awesome) in that spot.
Joe just loss to Crimson and now RVD on Impact!. I think his contract might be coming up. He's losing and has no direction. They should probably work out another deal with ROH like they have/had over Christopher Daniels (where the fuck is he?). Let him get his swagger back in ROH and bring him back in a big way.
Oh, they released Desmond Wolfe last week.:smh:

Your edit fucked me up.:D
I don't recall who's idea it was to bring in Terry Funk but it was definitely Ric's idea to bring in Rick Steamboat at the end of 88 since they were in transition from Crockett to Turner and he knew him and Rick could hold everyone's attention for 6 months and they did. 89 was a fabulous year for WCW on the main event level. When people say Ric Flair only has one match, they forget how he wrestled one match as a heel with Steamboat and another as a face with Terry in the same year.

I'd be shocked if they don't at least reach out to him and Sonjay Dutt. It's not like they're doing anything else.

Shit yeah. The DA in 92 was incredible. Unlike the nWo, having the Dangerous Alliance meant good matches from top to bottom, tags and singles just like the Horsemen.

 WWE still making great decisions regarding their young talent

That's how they do. They talk a lot of shit about guys getting themselves over but if you do it on your own, there's no reward. That's where they fell out with Jericho when he got that game show and Mickie James when she made a country album without them. Silly, petty shit. That's why guys who can do well outside WWE just say fuck it and leave (MVP, Low Ki/Kaval, and it looks like Punk).

I'm hearing it was good but with a weak finish for the main event.

I actually took my boyz to this last night, R-Truth carried his match, but the Big Show match was straight Lame.

You had to know they weren't going to have Show do a clean job to a non-300 lbser.
If they use it to build Mark Henry as a monster and ADR as a conniving mofo, it'll be okay.

Kofi/Dolph = Great but i hope kofi gets a push to the ME now.

CM Punk/Mysterio = Great no surprise there

Everthing Else = Awful and i knew they would find a way to make truth look like a joke. Vena got his ass whipped the entire match then hits one move to win after truth was damaged by water:angry::angry::smh::smh:

^^^^^^^ Indescribable.

We talked about TNA bringing back Petey Williams, I have seen that they're checking with Jerry Lynn to see if he's healthy enough to wrestle RVD at Destination X. They sign that, I'm buy the ppv.

I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I thought there was a slim chance that this "Power to the People" shit might actually not be rigged, and boy was I wrong.

They mean to tell us people would rather see Mason Ryan vs. Evan Bourne instead of Sin Cara vs. Evan Bourne? They just wanted to make Mason look like a monster.
