I like Sandow but :smh: for that match. I do think he and HHH will finish what they started with the angle they shot at the 1000 show with DX. Between now and Mania, if they do a HHH-Brock rematch, I think they'll do it at Survivor Series or the Rumble.

As for the newer guys from a size and character perspective it makes the most sense and while we know the guy will lose the buildup if done right would elevate him. I personally would prefer Clay for a spot like that but with his current gimmick it isn't happening.

I'll allow it...

The old "Rhinosaurus" gimmick would be a great foil for Taker but not Flash Funk 2.0. I'm just hoping he gets on the show.

Watched TNA this past Thursday.Call me crazy, but if they want to make this Aces and 8 thing dope, make Brooke the person behind them. Similar to when WWF had Stephanie do the marriage angle with Triple H.

i bet theyll take the easy route and make dixie carter head of the aces/8s  if it were eric bischoff theyd just be doing NWO 3.o

Now if they hadn't wasted Jeff Hardy and Hogan in that Immortal clusterfuck from two years ago, that would be a good reveal for Aces and Eights. Having Hogan be a face his entire run in TNA and then because Sting asked him to go "old school", he starts painting the beard again and becomes "Hollywood" in front of everyone and nobody noticed. Then him, Jeff, Bully and the new incoming guys feud with Aries, Sting, and Abyss (there has to be payback for beating up his "brother".
Doing it now would piss off all the good they've done in the last year because they would be rerunning a dead angle.
If it's some combination of Jeff Jarrett, Matt Morgan, Bully, with Gallows, Wes Brisco, Mike Knox, it'll be a good payoff.

Just thinking

If they do Rock/Cena II (:puke:) and Brock/Taker, maybe they're going to pull the trigger on Punk/Austin. If not, then Punk should get his win back against HHH.

When Rock said he was getting a WWE title shot at the rumble. I assumed it was setting up a match against Punk. Rock would work a month or two as champ, drop the title then come back at Mania for the Cena rematch.

BTW other than Mark Henry, what heel have WWE made to look like a strong champion? Del Rio, D Bryan, Miz, & even Kane were all made to look as weak champions. Barrett having Nexus could benefit him during a title run. But that's down the line as hopefully Ziggler gets atleast a two month title run.

I think Brooke might be affiliated with the Aces & Eights due to her getting her hair dyed black a week ago

Did she? I didn't notice.
Yep, that's it for me. She's in.

Welcome back Mick Foley. Punk is just going to take all his ROH stuff and do it in WWE. First the Summer of Punk and now a faceoff with Mick Foley.

Oooops!! :eek::giggle::giggle:

:lol::lol:

Masks angles like this only really work if it's someone under it we would know like the Midnight Rider or the Yellow Dog.

I see they have Ryback in reserve just in case Cena can't make HitC.

with this Goldberg streak he have going on, at what point do they give him a title reign ???

Shit, for a minute I thought he won the belt from the Miz, until I found out it was a non-title match! :D

But I see he has his sights on the bigger prize, so Punk better look out. A.J.already don't like him and would love to see him lose his title before Hell In A Cell.

Former Writer on Friction Between Cena & Vince
Posted by Steve Carrier on 09/25/2012 at 08:21 PM

- Former WWE writer Court Bauer joined Konnan and Mister Saint Laurent on MLW Radio and talked about the friction between John Cena and Vince McMahon regarding Cena's surgery last week:

"John Cena has this procedure done in Birmingham, AL. WWE.com puts out there that he'll be down for only two weeks and that life will go on. It was basically like removal of fragments and bone spurs in his arm or his elbow, which if you follow sports, baseball players have it done all the time, usually in the office season. NFL guys will have it done here or there. It's a pretty easy deal. So, I don't think anyone was thinking it was going to be this long stretched out thing, but then the reports came out about how long John Cena was going to be down for. John Cena then took to Twitter saying that WWE.com got the story wrong and that he's going to be out for a full six [weeks] and he just buried WWE.com and all the guys over there. The story obviously then switched to 'now he's out six weeks.'"

"From what I know, Vince McMahon himself, in the agent meeting, the producers meeting, told everyone straight up the dude is out for just two weeks, 'we dodged a bullet and that he's very much in the mix moving forward.' That was Tuesday, he said that. Then Cena had very different things to say and I understand WWE.com did talk to James Andrews [Cena's doctor], who WWE and Cena did give them the blessing to talk to. That's standard protocol at WWE. They always try to interview the doctor, get insight so they can have the news. Sometimes it's a kayfabe site and sometimes it's a legit news site. Sometimes it's a TMZ site, but that's the story. They interviewed him and Dr. James Andrews did say he'd be out just two weeks."

"So you have to wonder if Vince and the doctor said it and Cena is saying six weeks, there is an interesting issue there. Is it that John Cena wanted the full six weeks out? Was John Cena then told something after Tuesdays that conflicted with this? But it was very quickly thereafter they reported it on the website that this was not in fact the situation. The reality of it is, John Cena is coming off a divorce, he's beaten up. He's got a bad neck, a bad hip, bad everything. He's closing in on 36. The wear and tear of a guy like that, that goes, goes, goes and is a company man, you gotta think about."
"And if you're Vince McMahon, you look at the clock, you look at the calendar and you think, is it time to build the next John Cena?"

at this rate Cena is going to be a broken man before he hits 43..

Been time but he has his way of doing things and during the Cena era building new main event talent was never on Vince's plate. They just have yes men writers. They been burying guys for years and I don't see it changing until Vince is totally hands off. I know it, you know it, and every wrestling fan in this thread knows it.

Vince knows that Cena is his no.1 cash cow and if he's to miss any time due to injury he's going to lose money....you see how long Mark Henry and Wade Barrett was and still is away from WWE because of an injury ???? Cena would be back that following week

From NoDQ
We noted back in August that people within WWE expected Triple H to put more focus on the tag team division when he takes over more of Vince McMahon's duties and gets more power.

That change is coming now as the new focus that we've seen lately on tag teams comes straight from Triple H. They hope to have a credible tag team division before the year is over.

Back in August, the feeling was that more focus on tag teams would mean the Divas get put on the back burner. That doesn't look to be the case as word is they have some significant things planned for the Divas division over the next few months.

Triple H is a smart man who knows/respects the business and both of these ideas are great, my only gripe was his constant over pushes he got while being full time.

I was surprised they gave away him and Miz on Raw because I thought they would give him the Ultimate Warrior treatment and let him work on the IC level for a while and then shoot him to the top.

Jeff Hardy leaving really hurt them badly. He was actually more universally popular than Cena. Yeah, he had his outside issues but they have the same situation with Orton now, who's one violation away from termination.

We're not seeing the difference between HHH the wrestler looking out for himself and HHH the exec who looks out for the company. He won't be perfect but he and Steph can't possibly be worse.
I like the tag teams they have but you just had Kane and DB kill all of them and that sucked. I liked the beating of Sandow but they went too far.
They need to bring in some established tag teams from the indies. The Young Bucks are small but they don't really have any big tag teams so they would fit right in.

Kane & DB had to use weapons to attack the teams so i don't see it as a burial.

I didn't use that word but it did make them look weak. They got over the segment with just beating on Sandow.

TNA TV TITLE SITUATION UPDATE
by Mike Johnson @ 4:08 PM on 9/26/2012

TNA issued a press release this afternoon announcing that TNA TV champion Devon was gone from the company after an "impasse" in contract negotiations.
On tomorrow's Impact Samoa Joe, Garett Bischoff, Magnus and Mr. Anderson will all try to become the new champion by convincing Hulk Hogan that they should be in the match to determine the new champion. Hogan will pick the two competitors and they will face off to determine the new TNA TV champion.

On the Devon front, TNA's press release noted, "TNA hopes that Devon returns to the active roster in the future."

Interesting that they would put it like that so apparently they're still talking.
Bischoff can't win. In fact, he should still be in OVW, working with Al Snow and Doug Williams. They have quite a few middle of the card guys who should be there like Kenny King.

The TV title should be treated as a stepping stone title like the old IC title, how the NWA TV title was stepping to the U.S. title. Joe, Magnus, Anderson, RVD and Bully Ray should be TV title contenders defending the belt bi-weekly on Impact and weekly on Xplosion after 5 successful defenses get a World title shot.

I wouldnt put it on Joe or Ray because I think they belong in the World title mix. But Anderson and RVD are great fits and they could really help the younger guys like Magnus.

When compiling a list of Wrestlers That Don't Give A Fuck, New Jack is at the top of the heap but this guy is the number one contender

SCOTT STEINER COUNTER-SUES TNA, RESPONDS TO LAWSUIT AGAINST HIM
by Mike Johnson @ 4:18 PM on 9/27/2012

Former TNA star Scott "Steiner" RechSteiner responded to the TNA lawsuit against him on 9/10 in the The Chancery Court of Tennessee in Davidson County, counter-suing TNA and alleging that the company breached their contract with him
Steiner alleged that TNA had failed to properly provide, as they were contractually obligated to do, "an accounting of all Royalty payments" due to him, failed to provide "royalty statements of all merchandise royalties and video royalties" owed to him, and "failed to pay all royalties" due to him. Steiner demanded judgment in a "yet to be determined amount."

TNA sued Steiner in June, claiming he breached his (by then expired) TNA contract by making disparaging remarks about TNA, Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard, among others. TNA is seeking damages and an injunction to stop Steiner from speaking out.

In responding to TNA's suit against him, Steiner denied that he ever agreed to not disparage the company, that speaking out against it would breach his deal, that he was involved in a "concerted effort to disparage" the company and its officers, that he ignored requests to stop, that he is in a legal and binding agreement with TNA and that TNA has suffered damages as a result of his actions.

Steiner has stated his TNA deal expired and while he was offered a new contract, he opted to turn it down and never executed the deal.

In his respond, Steiner demanded the TNA suit against him be thrown out of court and requested a jury trial should the case go to trial.

And here we go again with Hogan needing the spotlight for multiple segments. I really don't want Hogan and his barrage of "brothers" on my tv...
