I've been watching Cena and Miz from the beginnings of their careers and the two had never had a good match with each other before that. I was hoping for better and it didn't happen. Throw in Miz wacking his head and it killed the match. Cena's a lot of things but he's never been known to shit on a guy in a match and he wouldn't have any reason to do that with Miz since he had to know he was getting the belt back soon anyway.
Ryder got the ball rolling himself but Cena didn't have to say jack. He could have went on about his business of delivering poopy jokes but he tried to help a lower level guy like Hogan helping Hilbilly Jim or like he did Bryan and egging on "Yes" chants. When you're the face of the company, it's a good thing to mix in with other guys. I don't have a problem with that unless you're burying them. If Cena didn't do any of this, he would get criticized for not helping out anybody (like he already is).
Punk spoke up for Gallows publicly after he was released but he had spoken up for him while they were the SES, even doing the job when it was supposed to be Gallows on Raw.

I saw the show, they did the right thing, trying to get ahead of the story. So when, not if, the press talked about it, they would at least have an apology already on the record.

I think her running is ridiculous but it's their money.

Ryder's momentum started losing steam when Cena started endorsing him and the "Yes" chants were already deafening so he really added nothing to it, the truth is both Cena & Punk are company men now and the only real rebels were guys like SCSA and the old schoolers from WCCW. To touch on the A.W story one last time i still say there was no story until they made it one, i would bet money that no media outlets noticed until the company itself hyped it up.

Best believe they went PG because Vince wife lost the first time running for senate because of all the previous grimy stuff that went on. So they figured go PG, don't say anything to jeopardize Linda come November or your ass is out. They don't want this bitch to be associated with WWE whatsoever so she can get to Washington and make bills that will benefit her family and their organization. That's how republicans do it.

They're also a publicly traded company who relies heavily on sponsors so that had something to do with it as well, plus don't forget the whole "Benoit murder suicide" scandal that nearly crippled the company.

Michael Cole is a special kind of ass. But he is funny at times. On Smackdown tonight about Jericho not winning "the big one" ...And I quote "You really wanna argue about this...Royal Rumble- eliminated, Elimination Chamber - couldn't get it done, Wrestle Mania- lost, Extreme Rules - lost, Over The Limit - Lost, Money In The Bank - lost. Chris Jericho has lost in the big one all year since returning to the WWE. He has not won a big match, he has not been able to do it, Dolph Ziggler's right."

Now that he's been toned down, he's so much better at his job.

Ryder's momentum was ebbing because his storylines sucked and he got beat all the time, had nothing to do with Cena.
They're all company men, who isn't and still works for the company? AW was a company man until they fired his ass. Steve Austin was a company man. Coming up with an idea that keeps you from being fired or a jobber isn't rebellion. All the rebels died when Bruiser Brody died and Stan Hansen and Kamala retired.

The problem with this is they've been PG for years.
And if they really think she's just going to walk into DC and start making bills as a junior freshman Senator, she really doesn't deserve to win.

TNA is bringing her back most likely so don't worry.

I swear if I hadn't seen it on a wrestling website, I wouldnt have known that was Drew McIntyre's ex.
I see what you get out of bringing in Chavo but Taryn Terrell adds nothing.

Dude have you heard the stories about Austin? He was very hands on with his material and if he didn't like something it didn't get done. The WWE is no longer this unstoppable juggernaut that can just crank out a new mega star, Cena has a lot of pull but he's fine with the way things are at the moment, Punk talked shit when he had nothing to lose, and now that he's sitting pretty he's become a yes man as well. At the end of the day Vince knows who makes him the most money and he will listen to them, the problem is there are no more real men in the company it's just filled with whiny entitled mid-carders who just pose as superstars.

Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I'm a huge Jericho fan. He is one of the last top guys that is willing to repeatedly put over the the younger/ up and coming 'future' stars.

He has done it all in his career and all there is left for him at this point is putting people over, which is something a lot of people on his level don't really do anymore. A clean win by Ziggler over Jericho is exctly what Ziggler needs before he cashes in the MiTB.

I think part of the reason that the superstars don't speak up is that Vince is a delusional, out of touch muthafucka at this point who puts his pride and dumbass vision of what works right now as gospel even if it isn't working.

Ultimately he has final say on things and he can't even build up guys anymore. Other than Ryback every other guy with a push gets built up a bit and then jobbed, built up and then jobbed. Hell what they did with Brock Lesnar vs Cena is more proof of that.

Looks like the one next to Maryse has gotten implants or she's wearing a push up bra.

Those are implants. So now I can finally tell them apart
On another note, got damn Melina is a butta-head :smh:
I've always noticed it, but this picture is the worst I've seen it

Possible story-lines for Summer Slam 2012.............. unconfirmed rumors.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1302596-wwe-summerslam-2012-wildest-storyline-twists-fans-could-expect-sunday

CM Punk’s nWo

With the talk of CM Punk and Paul Heyman possibly working together to form some sort of stable, the rumors are running rampant about exactly how and when that could happen.

SummerSlam is as big of a stage as you could want at this time of year, so starting a storyline as epic in proportions as a heel stable featuring Punk and Heyman to build for WrestleMania is something that could easily happen.

Add in a possible stable member with Brock Lesnar, and there is little doubt that the WWE could reform the nWo with members just as strong as the first incarnation. Old-school wrestling fans can only hope for a return of the black and white.

Shawn Michaels Costs Triple H a Win

With Triple H and Brock Lesnar ready to conclude what has been a dream match 10 years in the making, the looming story on the backburner here is Shawn Michaels and his broken arm.

While he says he won’t be there, HBK will make his presence felt Sunday; in a big way too.

This will be an absolute battle that will feature an even match until Brock turns the tables and starts to destroy Triple H. The beating will get uncomfortable to watch, and HBK will run out to make the save.

With one swing of his superkick, Shawn Michaels will kick his best friend in the face and Brock will win easily. That ending will give the WWE the option to play this storyline out anyway they want.

Most likely this will let Brock move on and start the eventual feud between HBK and Triple H.

Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler Steal the Spotlight
Now that the match is official, there is little doubt that the worst build of any matchup at SummerSlam 2012 has been the World Heavyweight Championship bout between Alberto del Rio and Sheamus.

With that said, there is a chance that this match steals all the headlines on Monday morning, as long as Wade Barrett and Dolph Ziggler get involved.

Whoever wins this match—whether Sheamus retains or Del Rio steals a win thanks to Ricardo—Wade Barrett needs to return and destroy the champion right then and there. After the thrashing, Ziggler hits the ring and wins his world title.

NO NO NO:smh:

I've heard plenty of stories and I know that Vince was open to input back then because they were getting killed by WCW. He used to give Shawn and Nash everything they wanted. Being hands on and being a "rebel" are two different things. The one time he really stood against Vince McMahon, he quit and had to come begging back (he was right in his argument but handled it wrong).
Cena has as much pull as Vince gives him and same goes for Punk and Randy Orton. If TNA was really on their level and banging out 2s and 3s for ratings, he would be different but even then with the company being public and his wife running for public office, he's only going to take so many chances.
Whether it was Hogan or Bret or Austin or Cena, the boss has always been McMahon.

But, like everything else, if they drop the ball on Ziggler, Jericho's doing the job will be meaningless. He can't beat Jericho on Sunday and then eat a RKO or Brogue Kick on Monday night.

Kinda like bringing Chyna for a single PPV

Hell that made more sense. At least Chyna could maybe pop a buyrate and they were interested in using her more but she "forgot" to tell them she had done a new porn flick.

The ratings say different. The buyrates say different.
It's not working and the company is spinning it's wheels and you are the only person I see not named McMahon who can't see that.

I agree. All of those are horrible ideas but I don't see any of them happening.

Yes we watch but with PPV buys dropping, the ratings not doing great and the company not moving upward at all is it really? At this point if somehow Cena went down or even worse he and Punk went down what would the company do? They have made themselves dependent on 1 guy that half the fan base doesn't particularly like, have a bunch of guys who if handled right could step up and take over the reigns with no issue but haven't been, and other sure fire main eventers like Orton and Rey who are 1 violation away from being fired.

What he done has worked but what he is doing is doing isn't even close to the level of what he has done.

Which confirms what I've been thinking and saying for years. Vince's "genius" is highly overrated.

On SummerSlam itself
On paper, it looks like it will have a lot of good matches but with the exception of HHH and Brock (HHH always books his angles great), none of the storylines or matches are that compelling.

They stay shitting on Randy :smh::smh::smh:

Man what's up with the company always overvaluing JBL? He is always high on their rankings. Bradshaw is the shit and I liked the JBL character but I don't know man there's a problem when Kane as a villain is so far down the list and JBL is 12.

They stay shitting on Randy :smh::smh::smh:

:smh:

How the fuck is Randy Savage, one of the biggest drawing heels in the history of the business, before and after working for WWF, that low is beyond me. The next person is Vickie Guerrero. Get the fuck out of here! JBL is number 12 and they made sure to put Vince really high.

JBL Blasts WWE’s ‘Top All-Time Wrestling Villains’ List

I have to say the top 50 greatest heel list by WWE is pretty far off. Forget JBL, I’m too biased to comment on myself, after all who else has had to have a police escort out of a town like I had in El Paso in 2004? That is real heat-and has any heel had any heat like that where folks were actually wanting to kill you since then, but I digress.

The biggest problem I have is with Gorgeous George being #9. I believe he was the greatest heel of all time, he inspired Muhammad Ali and James Brown-this was the guy who set the bar.

Nothing against my pal Hot Rod, I think Roddy was greatest heel of modern era. It is hard to compare eras, so how do you compare Hot Rod to the ‘Toast of the Coast’ The “Sensation of the Nation” the ‘Gorgeous One’. It’s impossible. So any list is arbitrary.

However, putting Gorgeous George #9 is insane. The 4 Horsemen were the greatest faction of all time, you have to have them at the top. There are so many great heels, omitting Bruiser Brody though? Really? Or Stan Hansen? Or William Regal?

Hollywood Hulk Hogan? Give me a break. Hogan was in the top 3 of biggest draws of all time, perhaps the biggest-depends on how you define the Stone Cold era. However, a heel? He wasnt a real heel he was a character. Greatest storyline of all time was the NWO and biggest match of all time was him versus Andre (that was ALL him, and he should get credit for that), but he was never a proper heel-he was still the Hulk, big difference.

Only two heels in the last 20 years needed police escorts out of towns, me and Sgt Slaughter. No one else.

Before that there were many. Hot Rod had heat like a nuclear bomb, he could be greatest heel ever-if the Gorgeous One isn’t and that is a close race.

In the 70s and 80s there were great heels and too many to mention here. Dick Murdoch, my first tag partner, was one of best heels of all time. To put some of these guys on the list and not Captain Redneck? Come on!

Any list is hard to justify, but I gotta say while this one has most of the top 50 in place I would argue the placing itself.
