I disagree with his take. This isn't Forbidden Door. More like, slightly open closet. Way too many AEW vs AEW matches. Looks like AEW took all of NJPW's top talent.

I agree. When I watch Forbidden Door, I wanna be like "I don't know who the fuck that is. But I know the match will be great" when I see the card.

Yep. Gotta give him propz for even trying this crazy ass shit. Let alone getting it over. Thats what wrestling is all about.
I actually like this character. Lio can go. The smooth, gangsta thing wasn’t super believable. Unfortunately, lio is the same size as Gollem. It’s super believable to see him pull off this character work. The creepiness and humor (with cassidy) is actually brilliant. He deserves a title run. If they can give Darby a title, they can give rush one. Let him cook

Don't give him any ideas! They'll have her love interest on AEW cutting promos and costing him matches by punching him in the mouth and accidentally breaking his jaw.
If this person were to be in the audience being interviewed by Renee Paquette she'd ask him
"Did you know that the actress whom you did that scene with is Ricochet's wife..?"

"Really? I didn't know that..in fact i was wanting to get with her when she was in the shower, when she took off that robe.. :sleazy: OOOH-wee i wanted to tear..that..UUPPP!!!!"

Ricochet be climbing over the security (and real police officers)trying to get to him "IM'A KILL YOU MUTH*beeeep*!!!"

Schiavone:"Fans,we..we apologize for this.. let's go to a break.."

Swerve Strickland feels the AEW-NJPW relationship is in an interesting place as NJPW tries finding their stars of the next generation:“I think it’s in an interesting place right now because I think New Japan is in an interesting place. They’re still trying to find their new stars, their talents that take them into the next generation. AEW is in a place where all of our stars are trying to rise to the top. Kevin Knight has found his own. Kyle Fletcher is finding his own. Bandido is stepping into his own. Now you’ve got Takeshita finally besting Okada. That was a former New Japan legend over there. All these guys are stepping into their own. It’s like all these guys have to be showcased now in certain ways. It’s almost like New Japan hasn’t found all of the guys who are stepping into their own yet, but you are getting the Callum Newmans and the Yota Tsujis. There are guys over there, but now it’s like, can their guys match the amount of guys that we have stepping up? That’s the challenge right now. It’s the new wave of talent matching up.I would say the same thing about the women with Stardom as well. It’s all about matching up that wave of talent that’s rising up. You want to meet them at the same time, not when one side is rising higher than the other.”
