So CM Punk just did an interview and basically called Rock corny

He shits on Rock for helping sell Wrestlemania because no one else including himself could and praises Cena for sticking with wrestling even though he has no other options. Punk can talk shit all he wants but as i've said before he was boring everyone to death with his SES garbage and had to resort to "shooting" on everyone in order to hold peoples attention. There's only so many times you can do that before you have to switch up and honestly i don't think he can, frankly he sounds pissed that a guy who was gone for 7 years brought ppv buys and ratings up while RAW continues to lose ratings with him & cena at the helm.

Cuz its the fucking truth! Ppl brought wm to see rock yes that's true but let's not act like the show has changed since then. It's basically the same show as when rock came back. Wrestling took a hit when the attitude generation grew up and saw their fave superstars leave. Now a lot of the buyers that are upping the POV and rating numbers are just fans who heard through the grapevine rock was back.

Punk makes a point I have been saying for months now and that is that rock made wm kinda corny. He did the same 10 yr old promos, said the same tired catchphrase and interfered in a match for like 5 seconds. It was lame. Punk ain't hating on dude he's just telling the truth. Rock came and did nothing special. The buildup between him and ceNA stole the spotlight from a deserving up and comming miz and it hurt the main event because instead of seeing what miz and cena would do next everyone was waiting for rock to pop out.

Rocks latest promo was great but what he did at wm was beyond trash.

And to say ses wasn't good is just being a hater yourself punk has been gold on the Mic for years and ses gave him him more spotlight to show that, evryone jumping on the bandwagon now but real fans already knew what punk was capable of.

While we can debate the appeal of SES (it was getting over until they pulled the plug on it) the fact that the Money in the Bank ppv had a 20% increase from last year when every other B ppv is down means he could have sold Mania too if they used him properly, meaning give him the mic.

That's closer to how I've been seeing the Rock's return. It started off hot and MOST of the promos have been good but the Mania appearance was trash and ended up taking away from the overall show. That last part wasn't Rock's fault just as the fact that neither SES or the New Nexus have lasted.
I don't see Punk as "hating". It's not a law that everyone has to like everything or that they have to pretend to so as to not upset anyone. He's stating how he feels and unlike when Cena went after Rock a couple years ago, Vince isn't in the back pushing him to do it.

Love is a wonderful thing, isn't it.

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Terri Runnels has filed suit on 8/8 against her former lover Jerome "New Jack" Young, accusing him of libel for what she claims are fraudulent accusations against her ranging from her health to her sex life to allegations of drug usage. She is also asking the judge to keep Young from posting sexually explicit pictures of her.

CM Punk was getting over but when he was still doing the drug promos without hardy it made no sense, I hear people still bitching about Nexus but who's really upset about SES not being around anymore or New Nexus for that matter. As far as Rock goes his final RAW promo was terrible but i put that on Vince because as shown from his last video Rock can go in whenever he wants. Punk's first shoot promo was great but honestly Cena beat him on the mic with truth this past monday, and how long before all this insider talk starts to get on peoples nerves? I like Punk but i can see that anti-establishment stuff wearing off before Royal Rumble or sooner not hating but just stating my opinion.

Lets all be honest. The entire Mania ppv was trash aside from the HHH vs Taker match. Rock didn't bring anything special to the event, but he did help sell the show. The Miz Cena match was booked wrong to begin with, they even blew a spot at the begining to make things worst. The Rock isn't doing anything new and why should he. He's one of the best trash talkers of all time. Rock's promos shits on everybody else aside from Punk shooting and that's going to get old stale it's he keep doing it so often.

Punk worked that gimmick successfully when ROH was doing the same 10 cities all the time so he has little to fear when it comes to burning out. It all rests on Creative and whether they continue to let him go on the mic. His talk isn't really "insider", that's what Russo likes to do with very little success.
Cena had a good promo again? Good. It's good verbal jousts that sell ppvs and unlike when it's was blatantly one sided with Rock and Miz going into Mania, if he can keep holding up his end, this will be considered a classic feud.
SES was a SD gimmick so only roughly half the WWE audience even saw it unlike Nexus.

Agreed except the idea that Punk's actually "shooting" on anyone. The best way to describe his promos are the same as Rock and Cena's in the buildup to Mania: work-shoots. Dude is a master on the mic so any concern about him getting stale is unfounded.

Seriously tho then anybody see that bullshit they pulled on NBC by having The Undertaker come out to Katy Perry's E.T. song?...that shit was remixed with the BONG and everything.

Cee lo looks really gay in that glimmering dashiki....

I don't care how many women you surround him with.... that looks....

Except when he was on SD i read plenty of comments from fans on different message boards saying he was starting to repeat the same promos not literally of course. His next feud will be real crucial because if he doesn't get the same reaction as he does with Cena then it was more of a product of Cena hate then interest in him.

PPV was good but i found it funny that Punk was cheered over Cena yet no one there seemed sad when he lost to ADR.

I missed the end, but if I'm reading this right, Punk beat Cena then ADR cashed in?

They probably wanted to capitalize on the fact that Rey gets a title rematch tomorrow in San Diego.

It is ridiculous how much they feel the need to protect Cena.He loses but he had to have his foot on the damn rope. That's a TNA move.Let the muthafucka lose clean.Could someone please tell me the last time he lost clean with no shenanigans.

And Alicia Fox was looking damn good. The way she is presented is fucking racist. From what I can tell she is the only diva that the WWE chooses to present in a way that deemphasizes her titties.

The had planned on putting the belt on Del Rio twice already, at wrestlemania and at MITB ppv but decided not to, but I guess they did tonite because in October they are having some shows in Mexico and wanted the title around Del Rio by then so I'll be curious as to how long they keep the title on him before they decide to give it back to Cena.

can someone give me a rundown on Summerslam?

Kofi, Morrison and Mysterio beat Miz, Alberto and R-Truth in a 6-man tag

Backstage, John Lea...arthritis, whatever his name is, made CM Punk apologize to him. Punk did it sarcastically.

Stephanie McMahon then appeared to wish CM Punk luck, Punk dissed her. Later she was coming out of Cena's locker room pissed off. Then later after that she was seen talking to HHH, discreetly.

Kelly Kelly (accompanied by Eve) beat Beth Phoenix (accompanied by Natalya)

Wade Barrett beat Daniel Bryan

Mark Henry beat Sheamus after slamming him through the barricade and Sheamus couldn't get back into the ring in time

Cee-Lo performed "Bright Lights, Bigger City", then "Forget You" as the Bella Twins, Rosa Mendez and Alicia Fox came out in red dresses and danced with him. Alicia was looking sexcellent in some heels and a strapless dress, with her legs out, shaking them titties right

Christian brought out Edge before the match thinking it was all good, but Edge basically said he didn't respect him as a champion and left. Christian whined.

Randy Orton beat Christian in a pretty good, hardcore-style match

CM Punk won the match even though Cena's foot was on the rope, HHH didn't see it. Disappointed Cena walks off to the back ignoring HHH's plea.

Kevin Nash (hair freshly dyed) came through the crowd (the commentators acted like they ain't see him until CM Punk saw him, even though he walked right in front of them and you could see him creeping through the crowd during CM Punk's celebration and he was standing in the ring behind Punk a good 5-7 seconds and they said " Where he come from!?" ) and he jack-knifed Punk and walked the fuck off. HHH acting surprised.

Then Del Rio came out and cashed his MITB title shot, (they rung the bell before Punk got all the way to his feet, it used to be a rule the champ has to get to his feet before the match starts) he hit an enziguri on Punk and won the title. Rio's the champ.

So now we have to listen to ADR's now speaking ass for a couple of months as champion...I'm sorry but dude's promo skills suck.....

Exactly! That was some bullshit!:angry::angry::angry:

Wait :eek: .... There's a new Sin Cara? :smh::smh:

Update on Future of Sin Cara and WWE Concerns
Date Added: August 12, 2011
Story By: Steve Carrier
- Super Luchas is reporting that Mistico has left WWE and Hunico was told he would be working as Sin Cara at the WWE Mexico tapings in October.

Sources are claiming two different stories. One, that Hunico will play Sin Cara until the original Cara can return and then they will feud. The other is that Mistico is not being brought back after all and Hunico will remain as Sin Cara.

There are people within WWE, and that work with WWE on promotions, that are waiting for a final word from company officials on the future of the Sin Cara character going forward. They are worried that the new person playing Sin Cara will be pushed and not get over like Mistico. If they merchandise him for big plans down the line, it could turn out that they have backed a dud.

Within Mexico, people are worried that fans will see the new Sin Cara as a fraud. Many of WWE's licensees saw huge money in Sin Cara merchandise aimed at the Mexican market.

That had Sin Cara return on the last episode of Smackdown and I thought that was strange with the news that he had been on the juice. So was that really Sin Cara or his replacement?
