That's tough for Rosa but she's been wrestling injuried for a while now. Who should be the interim champion? It will probably be Britt Baker again. My pick would be Jamie Hayter.

I knew it. Punk wasn't 100 percent. Moxley will wrestle MJF at "All Out" probably.
That was fucking weird. I can tell the "injury" is a work. I guess Punk came back just to drop the belt. Who knows when or if he will return to AEW now.
There better be something huge happening or they just blew a big moment by bringing Punk back too soon. Makes no sense to bring him back for this.
So Jon Moxley is the first two time AEW World Champion.

Not watching but I said a few weeks ago, putting the interim title on Moxley was dumb, instead of giving it to a heel to hold onto until Punk was ready and healed up.
I said AEW should swerve fans and keep the title on the heel/interim champion and of course the resident AEW capeman said it was a given that CM Punk would win it back....yet here we are with Punk dropping the title to Moxley... Again, shitty booking and just dumb.
EIther TK doesn't know what the fuck he's doing or Punk is really about to bounce...or both.
If only they gave Miro or someone who actually knows how to wrestle a run with it.

Punk isn't 100% so TK called an audible. I said Punk would go over Moxley under the assumption that he would be 100%. As soon as they said this match was announced for Dynamite I knew something was up.
And I mentioned a few weeks ago that what TK was doing smelled of desperation....
Punk never should have returned when he did, but TK needed to try and pop a rating...
Well, that's that and Moxley is the Undisputed World Champion until MJF probably takes it off of him. That will be the Babyface/heel dynamic that you wanted.

I don't know that I buy Punk really being hurt. I think with all of the Heat in the back. TK wanted to give him some time off. Punk knew he had to drop the belt and as a result he gave a lazy ass performance. Moxley knew Punk robbed him out of 4 to 5 star match so he went extra aggressive to bury Punk. Moxley is just as pissed with the match they don't want a squash match in a big TV spot because it's not believable. It reeks of fuckery
There's some rumors out there that Thunder Rosa isn't really hurt and may have been suspended over some heat she has with Britt Baker.
Ospreay has already gone on record saying he would never go to WWE. That of course was when Vince was in charge. He might feel differently now.
To my point earlier they should have paired Asuka with Io with Bianca and Dakota with Alexa and Bailey.
I like them better than Zelina, Nikki ASH, Tamina, Aaliyah, Dana Brooke and Shotzi on the main roster.

On the Wrestling Observer Board, Ryan Frederick confirmed what Sean Ross Sapp first reported about the match. Punk is not injured and the plan is still for Moxley vs. Punk at All Out.
It was also reported that Moxley didn't like the original plans for the pay-per-view and he pitched what happened tonight. The assumption here would be that Moxley was going to lose to Punk at the pay-per-view. That is not confirmed but it probably makes sense in his mind for him to get a win on Punk if he is going to drop the title.
I want this match so bad but I got to be patient.
