What's odd about it? HHH goes to fights all the time and this UFC bout was literally right across the street from their own PPV.
I'm sure part of it was for PR purposes (get Vince out in public even with the scandal surrounding him), but nothing odd.

That's right! I forgot MITB was the same weekend. Usually they're a week apart, but having WWE in the house and Israel coming out to the Undertakers theme and get up is just too many coincidences to me.

I'm sure it was all planned out beforehand. Israel wouldn't be able to use the Undertaker's theme without WWE's permission.
I'm sure Vince was also a little pissed that they couldn't use the newer T-Mobile arena (where the UFC bout was being held) and had to settle for the older MGM Grand for MITB since they couldn't sell enough tickets at Allegiant Stadium, where MITB was originally supposed to take place.
