WWE clearly dropped the ball with Sting. He's 63 years old and leaping off shit!!!! The match with Taker could've happened but the fumbled it.
AEW utilizes Sting in spurts though. They put him in tags or trios matches as a way to conserve his energy. I don't think he could go long in a singles match before burning out. It's a smart way to use him.
WWE ain't use him at all. The HHH match was some ego shit, then the Seth injury match.
I tuned into the PPV and had it in the background on my tablet with the sound off.
From what I saw, it looked like a decent PPV. It's a shame the injury bug bit right before the PPV or there could have been more big-name matches.
Plenty of time devoted to each match and the fans there seemed to be really into it (which I knew would be the case).
One thing I've always liked about AEW, is that they give their fans their money's worth at the PPVs.
Damn, another injury to the roster? Cole seriously needs to get on a weight training program. Bro looks like he's never lifted a weight in his life.
I think Britt has more muscle than him now. LOL
LOL, Sting vs. Undertaker is a match no one would want to see right now other than morbid curiosity. Sting can't go in the ring anymore.
He's pretty much just resorting to doing gimmicky stuff now like leaping off high places.

As MUUUUUCH as I would have loved this match; it's about 15 yrs too late.
Now there's a guy AEW needs to seriously be pushing. He should be getting a Wardlow-type push right now.

I missed all of last night's show. Had it playing in the background but had slight COVID-19 symptoms (tested positive) last night, so wasn't really invested in it, due to fatigue.
Glad to see Cesaro/Claudio get his shot. Hopefully AEW uses him right, unlike the other WWE guys.
Saw Cole looked concussed....probably should put on some (neck) muscle.
I'm feeling better today and will check out highlights. I still have no connection to NJPW nor their talent....but will give it a shot.

Get well fam. I went through Covid In 2020. Took me two weeks to completely recover. Despite not having a connection to NJPW talent I think you'll find yourself surprised by how good the show was.

I'm not a basketball fan. No matter how good 2K is its never going to make me purchase or invest in a season of basketball
2K wouldn't care about that. All they want you to do is buy the video game. That's profit. If you're not into it no matter what then there's nothing they can do about that. For example I'm not into first person shooter games so no matter how good a "Call of Duty" game is I'm not going to play it. The point I was making is if your video game sucks then that does nobody any good because nobody is going to play it. The metrics of making a good video game are important. It takes time and money.
This is why I always give TK the benefit of the doubt. He's not petty toward WWE. He honestly wants to work with them. I wish Vince had the same attitude.
What reason would he have to be petty towards WWE? Well, actually they never mention WWE by name on the air so that's debatable.
In business the #1 company never acknowledges #2 or #3, etc. But the #2 company always talks about #1 in hopes of becoming #1.
It's why in the fast food business, Burger King and Wendy's are always mentioning McDonald's in their ads, but McDonald's never mentions them in their ads. There's no reason for the #1 company to acknowledge their completion.
