Blake Monroe explains what led to her signing with WWE after leaving AEW:
"When my deal was up, people were like 'just talk to WWE and just see.' I wasn't considering it, that's not an insult to WWE, I always just try to focus on one thing at a time in wrestling, so I hadn't considered it.
"When I talked to them, they cared so much about the Glamour and so much about all these different things, I was like 'Okay, I do have a big choice to make.'
"I really sat and thought about it, and it was a really, really tough decision, but it just came down to, I did everything I needed to do.
"I feel like I told a great story, I feel like I made people feel something, and it's time to close that chapter and it's time to start a new one, getting a new name, and a whole new experience."
Bronson Reed recalls defeating Kazuchika Okada in NJPW, makes the comparison of Okada to Roman Reigns:“I remember when I did get released from NXT, I was like, ‘well, I’m just going to go out there and prove myself again and make sure that they know they made the wrong decision.’ I made sure that I knew I was going to get to Japan, but I didn’t know that I was going to have the matches I was going to have, and then how everything worked, and I got to work with, obviously, Okada, who at the time was unbeatable in Japan.You could say he was the Roman Reigns of New Japan at the time, for sure, and to beat him in the G1 and do what I did, I think it put a lot of eyes back on me.”
Mehhh, i guess...she can wrestle but her character is not compelling.
WWE's Omos says his run with Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan earlier this year gave him space to discover more about himself as a performer:"I had a blast in my five weeks there, I had a lot of fun. I got to wrestle a lot of guys I never thought I would have the opportunity to wrestle. "It was great to have that experience because that was my first time back wrestling since myself and MVP split, so it was great for me to go there and discover who I was. "I'm still discovering that, but I was beginning to find elements of what I like and don't like. I had a phenomenal experience."
No arguments from me on that because you're right, she can wrestler her ass off but her character is boring as shit.
