Je’Von Evans reveals he wasn’t going to be signed at his WWE tryout, but Shawn Michaels pushed for him:“I feel like he was the person that really looked out for me because during my tryout, apparently I wasn’t gonna get signed, right? But Shawn saw something in me.I was too young, I was smaller at the time, so there was a lot of people that wanted me to kind of get older and bigger. Shawn was like, ‘No, just trust me.’ Everybody trusted him and now he’s like one of my go-to people, you know what I mean? You gotta thank Shawn for sure.”

Mickie James says it was Triple H who suggested for her to be a coach for season one of WWE LFG: "You know, when I got asked, because Hunter had suggested me and really wanted me to do the show..."The coaches were Bubba, Taker and, obviously Booker T, all Hall of Famers."They've been around the business, Booker has his own school, Booker has his own school. Taker pretty much schooled the locker room for decades. I was like 'where do I fit in here?'"Working with the talent down there and the future superstars, they were amazing. And, you see how hard (they work). "I loved doing it. And, obviously the kids who were in my group, I've followed them. I had such a great team."
