Agreed, just like UFC imo won't grow to that next level until they get guys like dana white out of there. Hopefully tko makes it happen sooner rather than later.
They're doing great(at the expense of charging the fans college tuition for tickets lol) and I hope it means that the superstars are getting paid better because of it(press X for doubt.) but the creative has been shit since the days of the bloodline and cm Punk X drew.

The womens division is entertaining, the men are no selling everything and doing 130 false finishes per match.

I can tell there's a lot of cult of Cornette members here lol I use to listen to quite a bit until he started doing the same "claim to hate AEW but only really talk about aew" trend that most online commentary channels have.(Since there's literally nothing interesting happening in a wwe ring it makes sense lol ) He was an all time creative genius and all timer on the mic as well, with that said he's about as out of touch with modern wrestling and society as they come lol this is the guy who didn't know Tiffany Stratton was over with the fans before she won the title and refuses to admit that iyo is over lol old man yelling at clouds, like a lot of the IWC.
Crazy shit is my wife doesn't even want to go but she hasn't hung out with her friend in a long ass time and felt obligated to.

I'm a home body as well which is more peaceful.
I do like to visit my fam if they have something planned to come over to watch sports or during the holidays.

Between coaching my younger son's football team and going to my older son's high school football games, I haven't watched a Smackdown in at least a month. You're probably not missing much and you can always just catch the highlights on YouTube.

Yes, Corny is out of touch with a lot of modern things (like any older person in society) but he's still spot on about the psychology of the business.
The fundamentals of wrestling has not changed over the years and still remains the same, despite all the new moves and quicker pace as compared to the past.
Just like the basic plot of a superhero movie is the same as it was 100 years ago, despite new technology and better filming equipment.
A lot of stuff on TV now (in all wrestling companies) doesn't make sense fundamentally and therefore doesn't have the same impact wrestling used to have on people.
