If Im being honest his in ring performance has become a step or two slower. Watching that match on Smackdown was a little sloppy. Im just surprised how sudden they released him after having him in storylines and matches over the past two months. I think they are going to move Trick up soon and feel like Trick and Truth are redundant to a white audience. Although The Tricky Truth could have been a nice Tag Team with the Rap angle. Let Trick do all of the Work and Ron Cena comes in to finish the match witht he five moves of Doom.
Again it's not a "release", it's notice that his contract won't be renewed once it runs out in the future.
It's quite possible we seem him on TV again in WWE before his contract expires.

I said a few weeks ago during those last releases I'm surprised more people didn't get released. It's one thing when you have a private or majority owner like Vince before they went public or Kahn. But a corporate board ran company won't continue to keep talent around and barely get any use out of them. IMO instead of just cutting and getting rid of legacy acts like Truth, we'll see them become free-agents with merch deals with WWE like RVD has.

But they got Carmelo Taylor Carmelo Hayes doing the "im him" stuff so they can team up those two again

Because you're overvauling TNA. AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, ain't coming thru that door. Them times is over.

Raw
Smackdown
NXT
AEW
Everybody else (TNA, ROH, NWA)

TNA is a mid wrestling company. The WWE would only ever cross promotion with a company that they have no fear of competition with.
Yeah I was gonna say people saying they should be competing with main roster guys……hell naw. TNA is developmental brand at this point.

R-Truth deserves better than this because they could've sent him off with grace. He deserved a standing ovation for all the years he's been in the wrestling business putting in work from blood, sweat and tears.

So, I understand why people are mad including myself for how they pulled the rug from under him that nobody excepted this to happen so soon.

But I'm pretty sure R-Truth will be back doing some behind the scene work or popping up on TV every once in a while.

But R-Truth will always be a legend in WWE and he was my favorite wrestler.

Somebody put on twitter to make a MItB belt. I replied that could work but it should be an open challenge that anyone can call out the MItB champ at anytime. The MItB title can change hands at anytime but once a cash-in happens, the belt is done until the next MItB PPV.
Isn’t that basically the 24/7 title though?
