There's so much they can do with him and his character without him getting into the ring.
Unless they're going to do something else with him like Braun Strowman.
If not I'm sure he'll have a major payday coming his way with AEW.

They have a few wrestlers that are just "Hanging around" and they use them to get someone over like Sheamus, the miz , Kross and Truth. I agree that they should have truth but it looks like they are going to start something with him. Oh yeah..Grayson Waller and theory..they wrestle singles and tag team
Truth just had a well publicized match with Cena and gets cut out the blue like this?
There must something else going on because this makes no sense.
Looking back, it makes sense. It was his send-off match.
I know TK loves overpaying for WWE castoffs but I can't see him going to AEW.
Dude is like 50 years old even though he might not look it and he doesn't put on 5-star "dream" matches.
You always need mid card talent that can put over other guys that are getting a push and Truth was definitely in that mold.

I've never seen a guy get pushed down the card faster than him once HHH took over.
Technically, he wasn't "released" or "cut", WWE has decided not to renew his contract which I'm guessing is in 90 days or so.
That could be true. What doesn't make sense is why he'd then wrestle JC Matteo on Smackdown this week. Although from the looks of it, Truth may not be immediately released, so maybe they have something else planned for him.
This isn't shocking at all. I love Carlito being goofy, but he enters a ring less than Truth does, and doesn't really deliver as much since he's stuck in the Judgment Day Clubhouse.

If Im being honest his in ring performance has become a step or two slower. Watching that match on Smackdown was a little sloppy. Im just surprised how sudden they released him after having him in storylines and matches over the past two months. I think they are going to move Trick up soon and feel like Trick and Truth are redundant to a white audience. Although The Tricky Truth could have been a nice Tag Team with the Rap angle. Let Trick do all of the Work and Ron Cena comes in to finish the match with the five moves of Doom.
