Ricochet over Shelton??? Ok...I like Ricochet, but...Shelton was/is a worker and should have held more gold during his prime. Ironically him and Ricochet have the same problem, they dont really have good gimmicks and aren't over with the fans like that. I'm seeing the same issue with Carmelo Taylor.
I said the same thing when they were in charlotte. I'm like surely these broke dudes didn't by these belts off the WWE website. If so, I'm doing something wrong with my life because they like 700 dollars on there..lol
Agree...like Sami Zayn and KO's match was more believable than this. Stomp and GTs dont hit the same when they each take 3 and they keep kicking out..it's almost like a preview of WWE2K25..people be getting mad at the game (Uso has done 15 superkicks and seth rollins keep kicking out)..lol
Not only was it a finish fest, everything in between was slow and sloppy, it's like they both blew themselves out with the initial fake sissy punches they were hitting each other with. To top it off I see a lot of WWE only fans sucking off the match when they'd destroy an aew match for doing the same thing lol
To be honest at this point I'm not really sold on cm punk vs Seth Rollins being very good, I think it's a bit of a clash of styles and it's not doing either guy any favors, throw in roman and it's going to really do nothing for either guy, the real story is Seth vs Roman settling all the old beef, cm punk should have been in against Gunther(even though I'm not mad at Jey getting a shot, unless he loses which is dumb.)
I agree with you, but I think this may have been rehearsed, like Ultimate Warrior and Hogan (neither guy wanting to look weak). I think where the "this is awesome" chants pop out is because of the spots that are taken (Superplex, throwing each other into the steelcage, etc.) I know both of them can wrestle better than this, but maybe they are saving the "the real match" for a PLE. Honestly, my expectation of Rollins vs. Punk Match is Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero. We know how good those matches were.

I loved Daffney. She came along a couple decades too soon. She'd been a star in the social media age.
I only saw still shots and never watched an actual match so I had to leave him off. I also left off one of my all time favorites Im not even sure if he was good but in the early 80s there were very few black wrestlers outside of WWE. I ran across a guy name Savannah Jack he was the first person I saw with a Super Kick this was before Shawn Michaels, The Usos and the Young Bucks.

I remember watching this in real time. It's not a list but people don't mention Dory Dixon,Luther Lindsay, Sailor Art Thomas, Bearcat Wright, "Sweet Brown Sugar" Skip Young, Iceman King Parsons, Norvell Austin, Brickhouse Brown, Tyree Pride and Porkchop Cash.

Everything about that cage match screamed that something backstage wasn't ready so they had to stretch. Seth Rollins' 5 min w/ a commercial break entrance. The endless kickouts from finishing moves. The sloppy nature of the wild punches.
Maybe the Only Tribal Chief was backstage on a Monday night enjoying a Sunday sized dinner. Punk and Rollins had to make it up until Reigns felt like gracing them with his presence.

The way Reigns went after Punk when he saw Heyman consoling him, made me miss Brock for the 1st time in a long time.
I almost wish we could swipe out Rollins for Brock and go full retard with the booking for this one. Make the match something like a triple threat 'Heyman on a Pool'. Winner get exclusive rights to Paul Heyman's services going forward.
Punk: "I'm the OG WWE Heyman guy, so I'm gonna need you to back up."

Tez has been with her for so long that he knew he had to lock in early. Same thing with Jimmy and Naomi. Can't do nothing but respect those who saw the vision when no one else who were in their position to capitalize did. And I hate them for that.
