Now see one minute it’d price then the next they throwing slugs. Be careful what yall wish for Tony.
The WWE has no reason to respond, every week the WWE sells more tickets than Aew does in half a year, every night they air a show it triples Aews ratings, WrestleMania made more money in a weekend on the gate than Aew has ever made(spoiler they don't make money at all)

This isn't the Monday night wars as the thread title suggests, this is a Chihuahua biting at the ankles of an elephant.

The only war is between fans who enjoy talking shit online and those who like to stir them up to make money of this perceived "war" lol

TK probably is gonna add time to Omega's contract but Kenny may be the next huge get from AEW. May be 3 years down the road but I can see him jumping to ship for a few dream matches before he retires.

WWE ratings have been down since WM, but that's to be expected since the product was so hot going into WM.
The big difference is that WWE has their new TV deals already signed and are clearly not going anywhere.
AEW on the other hand still doesn't have a new TV deal, their TV ratings have been declining for MONTHS (if not years) now and they're still a new company.
Hopefully, AEW can turn things around soon because if they don't things may start getting dicey....
Funny you mention the new tv deal cause for whatever reason I thought the Netflix deal started after Mania.

That will probably be the next period of wrestling when I'm glued to the TV for each program.

I can't believe the deal doesn't start until January. If anything else it should be a huge bonus for next year's road to Mania storylines between the new TV deal in January & Mania in April.

Naw I don’t think WWE would ever respond but like you said it’s the Chihuahua biting at the ankle and it’s embarrassing. And every time they do this it’s a reminder they still don’t get it just when you think they are starting to.

I went back and watched this week show of AEW Dynamite!!..It was a nice and entertaining show to have after that good ppv they just had!!...The matches on the show was ok..The match with Swerve vs Kyle Fletcher was cool....Ana Jay vs Mina was alright as well...The segment with Willow and Mercedes Mone got me thinking!!..I have a feeling that Kris Statlander is going to turn heel soon!!...I like that Casino Gauntlet Match!..Damn, Will Ospreay had a big match at the ppv and now he's the #1 contender for the AEW International Title at the next ppv!!.. ...I really thought they would have this match at All-In....The match with Moxley vs Powerhouse Hoobs was going good until Hobbs got hurt!!..You can tell that he got hurt for real..:smh:.Get well Hobbs!!..The last segment with Jack Perry and TK was crazy!!...Damn Jack Perry and The Elite done took out their boss TK!!......Damn even TK's dad came out there to get in the show!!..lol....I see that TK was selling the work at the NFL Draft on Thurs!!..When I was watching the Draft, I see he had a neck brace on!!..Damn TK!!.....I wonder how this story line will go???...

Yeah I sort of felt that was inevitable it he really seems to like AEW so I was kind of changing my stance on that.

I'm liking the set and presentation AEW is using tonight at Daily's Place.
It's also a good way to cover up the fact that not a lot of people are there.
I always liked the set up at Daily's Place. They should go there more often.
Facts!!..I always thought as well that The Daily's Place is good place to do their shows!!..I would like for them to do their live Collision shows there!!...

That was just dumb. He's throwing pebbles at a giant and is only going to piss them off. He may actually be on cocaine.
And the thing is I don’t think his own wrestlers like that shit…I think he thinks he’s one of the guys but he doesn’t have the ability to read the room.

C.E.NO wasn't as cringe here as she normally is. When she doesn't do that over the top C.E.O shtick and just talk straight with purpose she's much better. In regard to Willow her promos have improved a lot since she first came to AEW she just needs to knock off the grunting when she gets mad.

Brother Mastermind2002, This segment right here got me thinking that Kris Statlander is going to turn heel..Maybe at the upcoming PPV!!...I still say that this is some BS that Mercedes Mone is getting a Title shot in her first match!!..This is some BS!!..:smh:

He should have been on first and cut a promo as the champ after his win on Sunday.
There was really no need for him to have a match tonight.
Instead they had "Pockets" out there first in a pointless angle.
Meanwhile Swerve just went out there and had a match like he was anyone else on the card.
I agree!!...

:lol:HOLY SHIT! The Elite destroy Tony Khan! Jack Perry is a made man now! Love it! Even Tony's dad Shahid Khan came out to check on him. This story actually has potential if they let it cook. Have the Elite take over the show nWo style with TK out of action.

That was crazy!!........On the real, This new Elite is starting to grow on me!!..I'm feeling this!!..

At this time of year it will be hard for wrestling in general to pop a great rating with NBA and NHL playoffs going on. Ratings will be down across the board. Honestly, I'll be happy when wrestling goes to streaming. That way you aren't dependance on an outdated Neilson rating system and fans can just focus on enjoying wrestling.

If it's going to be how it was during the past years, AEW do good around the Summertime and Fall..In the summer, the only thing is going is Baseball.. In the Fall, it's Football..But Football games are on Thurs, Sundays, and Mon Nights!!...

Yeah, TK doesn't appear to be an Eric Bischoff.

Here's the full match between Hayes and Rhodes. I feel like the WWE has so much talent (including NXT) that they could go to 3 hours and be good, but that may be a bit overkill. Hayes looks like he belongs and will be more than good on one of the main rosters. WWE needs to get more heels at the top of the card.

Tony Kahn is an unserious person. The family is wealthy beyond all means and this is all a game to him. If AEW were to cease operations, I think he would just find another project.

With that said, I don't see why AEW is having all of these obstacles to overcome. He's hiring the experienced talent in the ring and behind the scenes. Yet they can't seem to capitalize of any good will they build up.

It's mainly because of how he books his tv shows. If you notice the good will that AEW builds up usually comes off the success of their ppvs. TK understands the formula of how to book ppvs he just doesn't understand how to book tv. It becomes this start/stop kind of momentum dynamic. The ppv starts the momentum then it stops because the follow up (the tv shows) are poor. Solve that and the product will grow.
