The difference is everyone thinks WWE fans live in the WWE bubble. I was at Stanf and Deliver and the pop Guilia got was crazy.
That's because her name was all over social media and podcasts months prior touted as a great talent that was gonna sign with WWE so people researched her and got familiar with her work. The average WWE fan doesn't watch Stardom like that.
With the influx of talent of Japan into AEW you would expect a louder pip for Mina
They're more familiar with New Japan talent more so than Stardom talent. You have to remember AEW and Stardom only formed a working relationship a few weeks ago. Mina, AZM, Maika, Starlight Kid, Saya Kamitani, Tam Nakano, etc are all new to the American wrestling scene. They can ALL get over with the American crowd they just need more exposure.
