I’m gonna defend TK a bit. I get people don’t like his booking…..but as a booker is he allowed to book how he wants or does he have to book in this formulaic outdated way just because people been booking that way for 80 years? When is a booker allowed to book his on way?

He can absolutely book how he wants to book...but if people aren't buying what he's selling, he has no one to blame but himself.

Like films/movies, wrestling is a form of entertainment that has been around for almost a hundred years. You have directors that try to do things differently and some have succeeded while others have failed miserably.

TK has the money to do things differently, but there is only so much failure you're going to have before folks, audiences AND talent, start looking elsewhere.

Yeah, he can book how he wants. He's been doing just that and his company has not grown television and in person audiences since their debut.

The fact that WWE is so hot right now makes AEWs lukewarm shows (lately) more noticable.

People should be allowed to have fun at their jobs. This was a house show where wrestlers can let loose a little. "When you fuck with the the final boss", was bleeped out for tv but all the kids in the stadium heard the cursing live. Parents raise their kids, not wrestlers.

It's already an up hill battle for women's wrestling to get taken serious and be respected by men. You can have fun without doing booty in the face spots. In the Stardom promotion I remember Mina Shirakawa before she got serious about the craft would do boob in the face and hump spots and I hated that shit. You shouldn't have to resort to that to get over. Becky just wants kids coming up to be inspired by the right things in women's wrestling and not fall into the sexualization trap.

She comes off as an egotistical heel. I say lean into that and go with it if I'm her.
The AEW fans are not buying her as a babyface.

I like Becky but she need to STFU on this one.
Rhea did that at a house show. It's not her fault that people recored and post everything onto social media.

Rhea is doing fine. There are WAY worst influences on little girls than Rhea doing a butt spot. Just turn on the radio for 5 minutes if you want to hear the real dangers for little girl.

Once again I agree with you brother!!..She's fine as fuck!!.. :yes: ...But, she's also a damn good wrestler and TK need to use her more and make her one of the Women's wrestlers to showcase at AEW!!...
 
This match was a lot of fun. Maki's facial expressions on this particular spot was brilliant. I'm not the biggest TJPW fan but they do a really good job with their Intergender matches. For a little backstory Maki called out the "Murder Grandpa" Minoru Suzuki as it was a dream match for her. Minoru obliged and beat the crap out of her. Considering what Minoru did to Asuka years back Maki got off easy.







 
This was probably my match of the night. Everyone cooked here. Emi and Yuka look ten times better when they don't have to work with jobbers in AEW.

:thumbsdown: Why have this match? Rosa NEVER lost the belt when she was the champ so she should automatically get a title shot. No need for a number one contender's match. Mariah is gonna have to eat the pin because it's not her turn in line. So it's gonna be Rosa vs Toni at the ppv. TK's predictable booking strikes again.
