I don't get wrapped up in the whole superstar stuff. Don't care! At the end of the day I'm a fan that wants the best matchups possible. Mercedes going back to WWE wrestling a bunch of women she already wrestled in the watered down WWE style is boring to me. Mercedes outside of WWE is fresh and exciting with all kinds of dream matchups.
YOU don't care. What makes you think she doesn't?

Wrestlers have egos, no matter how humble they may try to come off as.

TK doesn't know how to make a known wrestler look like a star. He's failed with countless others who have jumped ship. They become the flavor of the month. What makes you think Mercedes will be treated differently?

She knows she'll be pushed the right way in WWE and with Triple H at the helm with creative, her chances of being booked like a star (whether you care or not) are far greater than how she would be presented in AEW.

You're playing yourself if you think all those prospective "dream matchups" are enough to keep her from going back to the company she has so many ties to, especially since there has been a change in the leadership she had prior issues with.

If CM Punk went back, then of course Sasha will return. It makes too much $en$e.

She scratched that itch in Japan, but I just don't see her going to a shitty women's division, that is booked like shit, that doesn't have a real direction and hardly is ever the focus and treats their champions that aren't white like garbage.

Keep wishing for those dream matches, while Mercedes is making Bank wrestling the watered down (safer) style with opponents she's familiar with. Isn't her husband still there too?

Mercedes/Sasha is a star and seeing how TK has used women, it makes zero sense for her to go there.

Not sure if this is accurate, as I don't tune in weekly, but zero minutes of promo time in eleven months is wild.... And her mic skills are supposed to be her bread and butter?

And she's supposed to be one of the pillars of AEW.
I like AEW for what it is. If we compare it to Basketball.
WWE=NBA

NXT/Impact = G League. With enough work a few can make it up to the big leagues

AEW= EuroLeague mixed with the BIG 3. You will see familar faces, some that you used to league. A lot more international stars. Different style of player that you are used to, some of them could develop into a superstar. Once that happens they out grow the promotion.
This maybe where MJF will find himself in 2024-2025, after he drops the belt to Will Ospreay.

Booker of the Year TK is probably slow burning a "banger" against some Stardom girl at Wembley Stadium next year

It would be wild if ABC aired RAW on Monday Nights during the NFL off season..... wilder if WB picks up Raw and drops AEW.

Thought they would held on to that one for a PPV event. Maybe this match ends in shenanigans and the real match will still be down the road at a proper PPV.

Although the Canadian crowd might (hopefully) make the match feel much bigger.
Nah, it's just typical "Booker of the Year" TK wanting to hotshot every "dream match" and having no patience to let a storyline play out.

You know there's gonna be shenanigans involved. Nobody is going clean over anyone in this match.

TK has put her on the back burner and it's actually been good for the women's division because it's allowed the other women to improve their craft. Willow, Skye Blue, Julia Hart, Kris Statlander, Toni Storm, Hikaru Shida are all better now than when Britt Baker hogged up the TV time of the division.

No thanks!

I love that this thread unlike the NBA thread is one long continuation. There are historical posts in here where I called for YEARS during those Undertaker streak matches when I begged for ever one to be his last.

Why can't wrestling fans, bookers, and wrestlers themselves just be happy going out on top. Stone Cold's last Mania match with Austin Theory had no reason to be as good as it was. Stone Cold so old he's had bad knees since the 90s.

Why push luck for some 'dream/fantasy' booking. That next match might be some Ole bullshit. It might be that Taker/Brock match where one person is Danny Glover too old for this shit, injuried, and concussed from the opening bell.

Fixed.

And yes, that Kevin Owens/Austin match was moe entertaining than it deserved to be.

That's right, Kevin Owens!
I said Austin Theory but I knew that didn't feel right.
Theory fought Cena. KO and Austin had the match that should have been a 5 minute quick stunner segment, but turned into a damn decent match.

No need for Austin to roll the dice again just for a payday with Punk.

The ppvs such as "Forbidden Door 2", "All In", "All Out", "Wrestledream" and "Full Gear" had a lot to do with that. AEW does an excellent job with their ppvs, they just got to figure out their TV shows.
