this sucks for wrestling in general, the future of the WWE and their fans (including me)
but looking forward to having more free time and cutting back on my wrestling intake

WWE went from being trash to finally being a decent tv product with constienst story telling to a burning pile of trash

These fools dubbed over Rey's voice. I see that it was probably initially recorded in Spanish. But still.

Still waiting for more credible sources about WWE being sold to the Saudis other than speculation and Twitter chatter.
Not saying its not possible, but I'm going to wait before I lose my mind over it.
It would make sense on the surface though.
Vince comes back because he has a buyer and the Saudis will throw enough money at damn near anything.
Stephanie resigns since women probably aren't allowed to run anything over there.

The Saudis got the money Vince wants and he knows this beside WWE is still on the hook with Saudi for money Vince already took for multiple events they have to do there.

Same. Until I see something from CNN, Fox Business, AP, Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg, Newsweek, MSNBC (which ironically was talking about it as i walked into the office), or Reuters, I'm just taling as speculation. It's alot harder to take a company from being publicly traded to private. And to have a foreign company essentially own a media company in the US...we will see l. May be credible and ik sure we will find out if it's credible in the next few days. Will be interesting.

And to the speculation that wrestlers are ready to quit, well let's see about that too. Everybody can't go to AEW and everybody can't be let out of their contract, which would prevent then from going anywhere. Buckle u over the next few days.

The old saying is believe half of what you hear and none of what you read. Either way Vince is back and bad decisions and happening soon.

They should have been doing them already. I remember Batista & RVD saying they preferred live events over TV tappings/TV days.

AEW is having problems drawing live crowds for their TV tapings, they're going to struggle mightily to draw for house shows.
Hell, even WWE struggles to pull in crowds for their house shows.
Yes, it's good for the wrestlers in order to get more experience but financially it doesn't make much sense.

If....if WWE does sell, I'm wondering if those contracts talent signed have outs. If I were Tony Khan, wrestling talent aside, the first person I'd hire would be Paul Heyman and let him book the show.

I'm not sold TK would do this (giving someone else the keys), but AEW has a legit shot to make themselves the number one wrestling federation, with the amount of backlash WWE would receive due to a Saudi sale.

I'm still hoping Triple H and Co. start their own promotion (or buy NWA and relaunch it)....but AEW signing top WWE personalities like Heyman is more realistic in the immediate future.

Speculation that that the Saudis were buying drove the stock up this morning, bet Vince was like

AEW better also get wrestlers to slow down as well. They have enough injury issues just doing tapings. It'll only get worse if their guys don't slow down on house shows in addition to their ability to sell tickets. On the brightside maybe they can expand their company cause it seems like they're going to the same cities over and over and over again

Maybe its time to check out these Joshis on Stardom and NJPW that I missed out on the past 20 years.

So it looks like the Saudi Arabia sale story was just a bunch of speculative BS from the typical wrestling "journalists" who really don't know shit, especially when it comes to the business side of things, and just want to see the WWE burn.
A sale of this magnitude would take months to complete, not a couple of days.
Hell, it takes at least 30 days to close on a home. No way the sale of a multi-billion dollar company would happen within a week.

WWE bought WCW in what was basically one day.….lolz

I get what you’re saying but an agreement on paper indicates a deal is happening and the Saudis got the money to move shit quickly.

But yeah, looks like wrestling twitter and the dirt sheet writers and readers….and the BGOL wrestling crew got played…..
