Yeah, I feel this thread in general is more interesting when there's actual back and forth discussion about wrestling rather than just spamming videos or articles. Not to say that videos or articles shouldn't be posted but it should be complimented with that person's thoughts on what they're posting. I hate to single anybody out because we do have some good discussions in this thread but sometimes those discussions can get buried under the weight of spam. For example I'm interested in hearing everybody's thoughts on FTR/The Briscoes 3. Sure I can post a bunch of clips about it but I'm more interested in the actual discussion. @Helico-pterFunk does offer his opinions on particular topics from time to time. I just wish there was more of it . Anyways, that's my two cent on it.
@Helico-pterFunk I actually like to know the source others use. I like the link maybe not a whole page but don't stop. I only discuss wrestling here but I often hear about the IWC and its unknown to me like Black twitter to white people.
I actually appreciate all the videos that are posted. I’ve seen clips from eras long past and my childhood, to videos of wrestlers I’ve never seen. The Joshi clips are great because those performers are phenomenal. But I do see y’all’s point. Sometimes it’s literally pages of nothin but post of the women wrestlers. Which is cool but I’ve notice that half of em are OF advertisements. F that. These women get paid plenty. Seeing they OF stuff is annoying. Seems greedy. But that’s just me.
That being said, ROH was great this weekend. They need to give that company a weekly show. I first saw ROH some years ago because every Saturday (least here in NC) they would have a single hour on in the afternoon. It was great to watch. The storylines were minimal but backed up with the intense action ROH is known for. I loved seeing Shane and Keith go at it once more. They were a great faction. This was the era Keith used to fly in that ring. Briscoes vs FTR was awesome. Now I personally don’t like FTR. They just look like slobs from a trailer park. Dem boys however are fucking dope and they never have a bad match. Their intensity was amazing and that made FTR look great as well. The spots were predictable but so violent looking u couldn’t help but be impressed. That landing into the pile of chairs off the top rope….. damn. I was shocked FTR lost because they’ve been on Indy god mode. Seeing them loose was refreshing but I was impressed because nobody cheated, lots of blood, pain and hard slams. Good match.
The 6 man tag. Meh. I don’t like cage in a faction. He don’t sell moves well. Least not in that match. That whole match seemed awkward. Castle is a good performer but everyone else just seemed jerky. Cage needs to be a beast again like in LU

Cage doesn't sell moves like too many other people. With his physique it could make sense in the right context but not when the people in the match are doing pretty much everything to each other. The Keith Lee-Shane Taylor thing would have been better with more buildup. I know their history but unless you're just really tapped in and were aware of that situation 5 years ago you wouldn't know based on the build. I disagree with you about FTR but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Every wrestler doesn't have to be super jacked but they should at least look somewhat believable unlike Marko Stunt for example who, to me, looks like an extra from Stranger Things. And the way that they wrestle fits their look especially as heels who go above and beyond in taking every shortcut possible to get an advantage. Love the Briscoes. Wish that they'd get their opportunity to be recognized more widely and making a significant amount of money as well cause they have earned it. At this point I kind of wish that The Kings of Wrestling(Claudio Castagnioli and Chris Hero) were together to make this a 3 way series of matches amongst the teams. They had great chemistry with the Briscoes and could see them and FTR being awesome as well.

Lolz I hate when cats add videos without context, their own thoughts or discussion points. @chrislee (more so @Mastermind2002 ) and I have different viewpoints but he's absolutely right. Don't spam the thread and don't bump a thread without adding to the discussion. We all follow this thread, when I see a notification for new activity but nothing being discussed it gets annoying..
I'm confused by this part. You say FTR look like slobs from a trailer park but the Briscoes don't? If anything FTR is a throwback to Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson.
H-Funk is well known for doing this. I didn't wanna put him on blast but I searched him name right before my post and people are saying "I'm about to HelicopterFuck this bitch" in threads lol. This is the longest running thread in BGOL so there's no need for bump it. There's always something to discuss in here.

All of the "indys" look the same to me. I actually live pretty close to where CZW and MLW put on shows and may start to go.

On Cornette's podcast, someone wrote in a question about Vince's departure taking some of the fire from underneath AEW's "mission". Knowing some of the appeal was simple wanting something that was not Vince's vision of pro wrestling.
Since HHH took over he's being in a goodwill campaign with bring a lot of people back, and leaning more into the common sense approach to booking certain things. Though not perfectly, we are seeing thing progress in way to make things matter while trying to make some things that aren't landing well work. For example, the Smackdown Women's title picture and Rhonda Rousey. And Tony's issues with the main event picture with Omega/Punk/Adam and other booking decision's making him look like he's driving in the rain and occasionally hydroplaning before regaining a little control.
Vince trying to force his way back in the picture will not being doing WWE any favors and puts more pressure on AEW to exist in a world without Vince to be the boogeyman.

I agree with all except (personal choice Carmelo Hayes over Hangman) I just dont like his character everyone else is spot on.
Maybe add
Cody Rhodes vs Bryan Danielson'
I could not find anyone in AEW that I could match up against Roman Reigns not even Samoa Joe (Could have an interesting angle with Joe trying to live off of the Samoan legacy the "Bloodline has built in the wrestling world"
This all comes down to what you value more. Gimmick or workrate (in ring skill). I'm a workrate kind of guy so in my opinion Omega would wash Reigns and Rollins. Only person touching Omega right now is Will Ospreay and they're about to go at it next month.
Danielson would wash Cody no problem. Cody's a tough son of a gun but he can get sloppy at times with his work. Danielson is always technically sound in what he does. Hell, I would take Konosuke Takeshita over Cody as well.
If Vince ever were to come back I would go back to not watching WWE. Triple H may have suspect booking at times but it's not complete dog shit like Vince.
It's about damn time. She's been yelling and over the top for too long. About time for her to become the killer that she used to be.
