Could go either way. Reports say they didn't go looking to fight Punk. You don't take the vice president (whatever her position is) with you to fight. As EVP's they probably haven't done much for the company.
They should be stripped of their EVP status regardless. You should never have active wrestlers in charge of creative, storylines, etc.
They've added nothing to the product in the role and it's serious conflict of interest as we've seen play out backstage.

Here's the story line: Ava is running around following this cult called Schism: The Rock addresses Roman as the Tribal Chief telling him he let his daughter join the WWE and the"Family" Bloodline was supposed to look after or protect her and they failed just like they did Nia Jax and Naomi.
Blur the lines of story and real life a little This causes the Usos to have to chose sides. They decide to remain netural and let the two fight for the title of Tribal chief, the stipulation was no family member was to interfere however AVA causes her dad to lose. However the Rock and Roman embrace afterwards and Roman vows to save AVA. This brings Joe Gacy and Schism to Smackdown merge with the Wyatt family and setup the feud with Bloodline
