I would think bc they released her it should void that, but probably not
Is she actually released though?

WWE hasn't, to my knowledge, released a statement that Mercedes Vardardo has been released/future endeavored....

I have a feeling we'll see her back by Survivor Series.....

I just don't see her going to AEW to be a Baddie, playing second fiddle to someone who isn't near the star nor performer she is.

She elevates Jade, Mercedes = Ric Flair Jade = Lex Luger Red/Keira = Arn/Tully. When they are ready to babyface Jade, Sasha will lead the attack and bring in Trinity to turn on her.

Why would she go to AEW though, especially if she has a lane outside of wrestling?

Fan booking/wishing aside, there is no reason for her to go to AEW if she wants to continue being a star.

Yes, she's wasn't used well these last few months in WWE, but she was still a top star in the the most popular wrestling company.

I just don't see why she would go to AEW as it would be a step back for her, especially if she's brought in to help build up Jade and others.

The payday would be great and TK would build the entire division around her. No more being buried behind Charlotte, Alexa Bliss, Bianca, Becky Lynch. She will make TV appearances and wrestle on Pay Per View only. Its like when executives leave Google and Facebook to smaller startup they like the challenge of creating the next great company. This is all coming from a Sasha Fanboy. I root for all black wrestlers to succeed. Its clear her path is in Hollywood as they need a female action star. But the fanboy in me, dont want to see her go

So is Jonathan Gresham about to get the Bryan Danielson co-sign and face Zach Sabre Jr. or is someone else expected to get that spot?

Same shit we all heard with Andrade, Black, Miro, Keith Lee, Ruby Soho, Athena, etc....

AEW would sign Sasha to pop a rating and then wouldn't know what to do with her after.

Will Sasha/Mercedes be the new Baddie. She is known to befriend and then turn on her partners. That would setup a nice feud with Jade later down the line.

Nope, don't get your hopes up.

Sasha's too big to be in Jade's group, let alone be a subordinate to Jade. She'd be challenging Jade if anything.

She'd probably be the highest paid woman on the roster if she were to go to AEW.

Sasha and Kiera had a lil beef last year over blue hair.

There's still conflicting reports of whether Sasha's actually gone from WWE or not.

And worst of all, the new baddie is probably going to be that nigga Sonny. He be dancing in the IG videos with them all the time and he hasn't been on TV in like two years except for when they roll him out for the homo promos.

Damn. Done fucked up my afternoon bruh...

"Forbidden Door" card is stacked!
This "Forbidden Door" PPV is for the markiest of the wrestling marks. LOL
Damn shame CM Punk or Daniel Bryanson can't be on the show to at least give it some personality.
A bunch of foreign guys doing a bunch of moves with little to no storyline does nothing for me.
I have absolutely no interest in watching the show.

Forbidden Door is looking like a live action WCW vs The World show.....

I didn't realize personality was exclusive to those two wrestlers. There's plenty of personality on this card.

It's not for everyone. I watch New Japan so I know who these wrestlers are and how they're going to interact with AEW wrestlers. For me personally I don't need storylines to enjoy a show. As long as the workrate delivers the show is going to bang. People have become too conditioned to thinking you have to have fancy storylines to enjoy a wrestling match (the WWE Effect). That's what I love about New Japan. The stories are told in the ring. The focus is on the dynamics of the wrestling match. Not promos or elaborate storylines. A great part of what made the Omega/Okada series a classic was the stories both men told in the ring.

Vince done did you dirty fam. lol

WWExGGW show in full. Of course none of the WWE women do anything of note but Vince continually tries to bury this

Man those girls gone wild days were hilarious. Ain't no chance in hell they could do that shit today.

First time I ever went to Miami, I went to a Girls Gone Wild shoot at Club Deep in Miami Beach once....shit was lame though. They have to probably film like five parties just to get enough footage for one video.

Good!

I'd rather watch matches I've never seen before, with people I've never seen before, who also have different styles, than the same 7 matches over and over again every month with the same people. So what they're not in storylines arguing over prop swords and fake dead brothers, I know them matches finna slap and I don't even watch NJPW.

"Fancy storylines"??? LOL
You mean like storylines that have driven the wrestling business to its biggest heights?
Yeah, let's just forget about all that fancy storytelling and just have guys letting the other guy slap them in the face repeatedly and do a bunch of moves.
There's a reason that style of wrestling only appeals overseas and to a select few here in the U.S.

Oh yeah the storyline that Eric Bischoff took from New Japan to create the nWo. The invasion storyline that was already done in Japan.

In ring storytelling has worked for decades now. It's not just dudes doing a bunch of moves. Get a fucking clue.

There's a reason that style of wrestling only appeals overseas and to a select few here in the U.S.

Select few my ass. Japanese wrestling has been popular with American audiences for decades now. That shit goes back to the fucking 70's. Why? Because It's always been a great alternative to the WWE. It's presented as a sport and gives off the kayfabe of legit competition. Their yearly events, like the New Japan Cup, the Best of the Super Juniors, the G1 Climax, and Wrestle kingdom further establishes that narrative. The focus and storyline component is on the action in the ring. There's a reason why all the American promotions (WWE included) have worked with Japanese promotions because they're the top dog in regard to the presentation of professional wrestling.

Damn didnt know Nattie had this in her...Rhonda might step away from twitter
