So many of the great shows and PPV that people talk about when complaining about how the modern product is garbage, were actually kinda garbage too. A lot of great moments that made people forget the other 2 to 3 hours of shitty booking, matches, and non-finishes.

WWE's probably never had good era of writing or booking. With the Attitude era, it was more about the characters and their moments.

In the 90's and 2000's, wrestlers (across all 3 promotions) were allowed to be cool, and be real, and be badass, that's what made the characters likable. I think that's what people really miss, not necessarily the writing or the booking.

It's just that now Vince and WWE's just so up it's own ass trying to be this big profitable company, trying not to lose endorsements, or piss of investors or the board of directors, trying to "be the next Marvel" and shit, they've restricted and neutered their characters to the point where most of their guys look like weenies and bitch asses with all this cheesy, illogical dialogue.

I'm not a big fan of supernatural characters, but I see why Alexa has one. Physically she's not as big as most of the roster and due to injuries she doesn't move as quick or is as athletic as she used to be. She should have a move-set similar to Io Sharai, but she can pull those off. Her straight up beating women much bigger or talented than her was never really that good, but she's good on the mic.
