Unless Vince decides not to give the company to his kids or Paul and sells them to someone like Disney or Warner Bros there is no way they will be able to buy back their logo, licenses, concepts, and library. They should wait and see what Vince will do first. As long as Vince is around he will bury everything.

He never faced charges so there really wasn't ever any "proven" truth to those allegations, however Roddy Piper spoke of it and it sounded like Patterson tried to to mess with Piper once.
He was fired by WWF but quickly rehired.

This partnership with AEW greatly benefits Impact.
Vince only destroyed WCW and ECW, he doesn't do shit with other promotions if he isn't the primary beneficiary.

I like the cooperation between Impact and AEW. If only there was cooperation back in 1984/5. Maybe the industry would still be good. I do think this is a step in the right direction. Bring up a competitor with talent mix and talent exchange while taking on a bigger common competitor who happens to dominate the market.
Even if he never wrestles a match (which he may not), it's still a big get for AEW to have him on their show cutting promos, managing, being backstage, merchandise, etc.
