I think it is all three! Like you would thank him for the compliment and punch him in the stomach for what he said.
This was going to split the wrestling world in half,.... Wrestling was always a variety show with 80% wrestling and 20% showcase.... And that includes promos and goofyness.
Between the rise of Kenny the cleaner, Penta vs his psycho brother and the tag team tournament and this? I was cool with it.

Absolute ridiculousness. Don't know what the point of it was or who it was supposed to appeal to. Not really gonna appeal to a wrestling fan and if someone just wants to be entertained they can do better elsewhere. Some shit that Jericho does because he can and to soon after the goofy Mimosa match.
