If they take it.... The amount of "jobs" they're about to do and time they will spend in catering will be astonishing.
A lot of them can't afford to turn them down now and WWE knows it.
Normally they could go on the Indy circuit, but there are no shows being run right now.
And AEW can only hire but so many of them.
Even making a fraction of what they were making before is better than making nothing right now.

Ryder/Matt Cardona needs to hold out. He got himself over and reached for the imaginary brass ring and got pushed off the stage for it. He's inventive enough to get his brand over as we saw with Z True Long Island Stories. His YouTube Major Brothers pod is pretty good also.

Making YouTube videos and podcasts is cool, but he's a wrestler/entertainer at the end of the day.

I mean Lacy Green is still in NXT and getting a paycheck & he's selling merch. NJPW will start having fans in either late July or August. US will likely follow suit soon after. I don't know how much these guys have saved up but Cardona & Rusev have enough of a following to not need WWE.

He was my favorite wrestler as a kid, too.
I had both of his action figures (the one with the green trunks and the later one with the white).
Looking back though, he was a shitty wrestler with nonsense promos. LOL
Promo starts with his back tuned facing the wall speaking in a mellow voice.
