Did y'all not see my post about his merch sales? Vince doesn't give a shit about how much fans boo Reigns or revolt against the product as long as money keeps rolling in.

Not mad at Reigns going over Taker. Reigns should be top heel. Taker is going to have to retire for good at some point. I think Braun will take Taker's place.

i guess at the house shows hardcore fans dont show up but his reponse is mixed at best and i dont see alot of ppl in the crowd wearing his stuff
i would've guessed New Day is above him as far as merch but what do i know
 
It was a decent Mania. Not bad, not good, just decent. A lot of people got their Wrestlemania moment last night. I predicted that Roman would go over but damn that match was weak. I've been saying this shit every year since the first Taker/HHH match, but they should have just let the man retire years ago. I knew if they keep putting him out there that he would eventually leave with his last match being seen as weak and him as too old. Reigns is not the person they need to carry a senior citizen to a good match.

And I think that the entire internet wrestling community needs to stop with the turn him heel tactic. Turning Roman heel isn't going to fix the problem and it might actually makes things worst. The problem with Reigns is bigger than turning him heel or keeping him face. His problems go hand and hand with the problems of the entire industry right now. The internet has changed the game and busted the wrestling industry wide open and they're still struggling to keep up. See back in the day if they had a guy like Reigns, who they pushed too early. They could have him fake an injury and send him back to OVW for more grooming. But because of the internet, they can't really do that anymore. It would take all of 30 minutes for the internet to shoot through a fake injury angle and they don't really have a nice and quiet, non-televised OVW place to send him anyway. And sending him back to NXT would kill any future momentum. Yes they pushed him too high too fast, but riding it out is the only option they have right now. Let's say they turn him heel and people still don't give a shit about him. Now you've cut his able to sell merch to children by making him a bad guy and the older fans would just be bored. Now that's 'sitting on your hands' X-Pac heat. We might not like him and they definitely fucked up by pushing him too fast, but at least he is moving product and getting a reaction. They are going to have to ride out the shit storm that they created by pushing him to the moon. No heel turn is going to change that.
 
Turning Roman heel would work the same way it worked with The Rock. Rocky Maiavia was booed and disliked but the WWF continued to push him. When he was injured and came back as a cocky heel, fans hated him and loved booing him....Those boos eventually turned to cheers.

Fans want to boo Roman. Minus whale give them what they want.... Eventually they will cheer for him.

Hell, look at Seth Rollins, fans hated him when he turned on the Shield, yet they love him now.
 
My issue with Roman is that he has these dope entrances and comes off as a monster but then he gets his ass kicked. I want him to add another finisher to his arsenal and just fuck people up.

Roman doing the spear is straight silliness when you have Goldberg on the same card. The spear was ruined a looooong time ago anyway. And the Superman punch is junk too.
 
I like the idea of a Samoan stable, I just worry if they would all get shine or will they be there simply to get Roman over. Because Joe and the Usos deserve to be higher than they currently are. Joe needs to be in the title picture this year. If they were in a group with Roman as the one in the main title picture, does that mean that Joe would move down to US title status? Or Joe and Reigns coming to blows when Joe eventually decides to go after the same title as Roman. That could work.

And I thought I was the only one who hated Roman's finishers. :lol: The superman punch is plain fucking stupid and the spear has been muted over the years by over use. Reigns definitely needs a new finishers and a few more moves in his arsenal.

It's not really that Roman needs more grooming. Everyone says he's sound in the ring and I don't think that they're just putting him over. He's not a ring veteran to call his matches. The big problem is his booking. He's the Samoan John Cena. He doesn't sell. Reigns is a baby face that doesn't evoke sympathy. Reigns takes a ass whooping and gets right back up. Gallows and Anderson two or three weeks straight. Reigns hasn't been cheered since he was against all odds against the league of nations in Philly last year.
