He's Nigerian-American so it's not a stretch from who he really is. I'm digging this new character.
It's much better than the old smiling-all-the-time, bland Apollo character from before.

Yeah, I knew that "exploding, barbed wire, death match" was gonna be on some outlaw mudshow indie bullshit.

Does WWE have any other African wrestlers other than Apollo and Kofi?
Would be cool to see Kofi (Ghana), Apollo (Nigeria) and another form an African Union stable of sorts.
Kofi's New Day schtick is beyond stale. I'd like to see him and Big E become more serious wrestlers....

They (AEW) need to take a page from WWE. Whenever something doesn't go as planned or is a dud, Vince just presses on and doesn't even acknowledge it. But Tony Kahn is such a fanboy and he interacts with the other fans, he's going to feel compelled to try and work out of this.
