Stevie Ray is gold on these shoot interviews. He is like the Shannon Sharpe of wrestling. I love how he checks the white boy:lol:. This one was about the black WCW jobber Hardbody Harrison getting life for gorilla pimping.

Dear God.... That Omega!!!!

You should know by now that the WWE style is not strong style. In the territory days most anyone could go anywhere in the world and fit in. These days only a few WWE guys can survive strong style wrestling outside of the WWE. Sports Entertainers have killed the business,w e need less of them and more wrasslers.

I agree with you somewhat but the current talent level in the WWE is by far the best it's ever been. Damn near everyone on the roster is a capable worker. You have to credit Triple H for moving passed Vince's vision of what a professional wrestle should look like and more so judge them on their in ring work.

its funny how talented the WWE roster is from top to bottom but how so much of the talent is still underutilized with 3 hours on Monday, 2 hours on Tuesday & ppvs every other week (not to mention the network with NXT, 205 live & random tournaments)

the best WWE match I saw this year was the european championship rematch awhile in Chicago I believe....and I havent seen those dudes since

Two month ago, Katsuyori Shibata was one of the biggest stars in New Japan, and figured to be a huge part of the main event scene, or at least the midcard title scene, as NJPW made its debut in the United States and turned its focus to North American expansion. But during a much-lauded IWGP Heavyweight Championship match against Kazuchika Okada, Shibata hit one of his signature shoot headbutts, and that, along with dehydration and exhaustion from the grueling match, caused a subdural hematoma.

Shibata collapsed backstage and had to be rushed to a hospital for emergency brain surgery. He later underwent a second brain surgery, and for some time was dealing with numbness in his limbs and vision problems. He is up and around and in good spirits at the moment, but the fears that his career as a wrestler may be over have not subsided.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the belief is that Shibata will indeed never return to wrestle again, but New Japan wants to keep him around as an integral part of the company. The current plan is to use him as a full-time coach in the promotion and at the dojo when he is well enough for the task. The supposition here, then, is that if NJPW does indeed follow through on their plans to open a U.S. dojo, Shibata could very well be a big part of that.

ESPN Staff Writer

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was hospitalized and admitted to an intensive care unit over the weekend, and after initially downplaying the seriousness of the issue, a representative for Flair has made a plea for public support.

As first reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Flair was hospitalized on Saturday morning for heart-related issues, with Zanoni initially reporting the situation involved "routine monitoring." PW Insider's Mike Johnson reported that Flair is hospitalized near his home in Atlanta.

Flair, 68, has spent the past five decades of his career in the world of professional wrestling with a reputation as one of the most charismatic personalities in the history of that business. His popularity and personality have transcended into the world of professional sports on many occasions, with players recreating some of his most famous wrestling promos and Flair himself often called to serve as a motivational speaker.

Breaking: Alberto El Patron Stripped Of GFW World Heavyweight Championship
By Kevin O'Neal | August 14, 2017

Alberto El Patron has been stripped of the GFW World Heavyweight Championship, the company announced in a statement on Monday. You can read the statement below:

GFW has concluded its internal consideration of the events surrounding the suspension of Alberto El Patron. While it is apparent that initial reports unfairly characterized El Patron's involvement in the incident in the Orlando airport, we are nonetheless disappointed with the manner in which he dealt with this situation; we expect more decorum from all on the GFW roster, especially the World Champion.
We have communicated with El Patron our decision to strip him of his championship title. No decision has been taken as to the date on which he will be reinstated to the roster, the conditions of which are a private matter between the company and El Patron.

Police confirmed that El Patron was detained following a domestic battery incident at the Orlando International Airport on July 9, 2017. He was not arrested and no charges were filed at the time.

TMZ reported Patron allegedly roughed up a female companion but did not mention his girlfriend Paige by name. In response, Paige tweeted this:

"WE got the cops involved. I'm crying cuz I found out bad fam news & a lady tries take a pic. She gets angry throws a drink on @PrideOfMexico," tweeted Paige. "Please leave us alone. That's it."

Paige's tweet was highly disputed by eyewitness accounts and reports that followed the incident. TMZ obtained audio from the incident where Alberto is heard telling someone, possibly Paige, to "call the cops." Paige is heard crying and yelling, "Just stay out of my life. Leave me the f-ck alone. I'm trying to get away from you!"

A witness claimed El Patron and Paige were arguing and Patron told Paige he was pressing charges against her. A witness told Heavy.com that the couple were arguing on the airport tram system, with Paige screaming at El Patron that he had been doing cocaine for "two days straight" and she called him abusive. There were also claims El Patron smelled like alcohol.

GFW announced on July 12, 2017 that El Patron was suspended indefinitely. Over the course of the investigation, authorities determined Paige could face charges but none have been filed at press time. Patron has not worked for GFW since his suspension.

Both Paige and El Patron addressed the incident during a radio interview on Busted Open with Bully Ray and Dave Lagreca earlier this month. Each claimed they planned to return to work soon, with Paige going back to WWE and El Patron to GFW. Patron claimed a date for his return had been set but GFW clarified he was still suspended.

The Street Profits make their WWE Network debut next week:

Angelo Williams and Dante Ford's Entrance - NXT Albany

I watched their first match on NXT. The tall skinny dude is an amazing athlete. He reminds me of Bones Jones in the WWE. They looked really good in their first match. Remember how we trashed the New Day when they first came out. They turned a terrible gimmick into the, longest, reigning, WWE champions. Hopefully the Street Prophets can do the same.

a lot of people on the internet is mad at the kid saying that was inappropriate. I mean if that was my son I wouldn't know what to do on one hand I would be proud of him but on the other u can't be doing that lol lol

ppl make a big deal about everything
he was looking for a high or some dap that obviously didnt connect as intended...
you can tell by his reaction & nia's

Did Baron Corbin fuck one of the writers wives or something? He must have seriously pissed someone off backstage.
Think they may have soured on him. Baron really doesn't come off as intimidating. He's just big. He's not good at promos, comes off disinterested, not in shape hence why he wears the t shirt. There were better options for the MITB. I was shocked that he lost. Only the 3rd time that someone didn't win the cash in. I expected him to cash in on Shinske. Would've made more sense to have Shinske to beat Corbin during the cash in and made Shinske look more bad ass.
