I don't know why you keep repeating this nonsense. TK grew up watching ROH and New Japan. The sports based presentation that he's going for leans toward those promotions not Mid South wrestling. Cody was the one who really wanted JR in AEW not Tony. JR hasn't been good for a long time even before AEW. He's simply too old to adapt to the dynamics of modern wrestling. Tony Schiavone is adapting quite well. Taz is adapting quite well. JR shits the bed. Tony might keep him because he feels sorry for him but I would cut him loose.
It's not nonsense. "Sports-based" presentation is almost verbatim what JR mentioned at the onset of AEW.

I like Tony Schiavone and used to listen to his podcast regularly, but he sucks at commentary now.
All he does is say how everything in the ring is "great" and "awesome" no matter what's in front of him.
He was away from wrestling for almost 20 years and was working at a Starbucks at one point.
Tony Schiavone is the ultimate company man and will do and say whatever in order to keep getting a check from TK.

I think it would be wise for AEW to give JR in a backstage role and perhaps have him on commentary during PPVs for some of the big matches.
JR still knows way more about wrestling than TK or his buddies will every know.

Nowhere in that article does it say they want to be sports centric like Mid South wrestling it just says they want to be a sports centric alternative. Even if that was Ross's train of thought it wasn't Tony Khan that fed him that bullshit it most likely came from Cody. TK's idea of sports centric and JR/Cody's idea of sports centric are two different things.

He's better at it than what JR is doing now. JR is so bad now I cringe whenever he's on TV.

Not true at all. He's a babyface commentator so his job is to put over the work of the babyfaces and show his disgust for the heels. Look at how he shows his disgust for Don Callis, MJF and Christian. He isn't out there saying how awesome they are he's saying how much they make him sick reacting how a babyface commentator would react.

Schiavone isn't stuck in the past like JR. He's just smart and humble enough to learn and adapt to what wrestling is today. I remember an interview that NFL Hall of famer Warren Sapp did where the reporter asked him about Al Davis's (former Oakland Raiders owner) knowledge of the game. Sapp stated ..

"Al Davis knows football -- it's just '60s and '70s football"

The same can be said for JR. Yes, JR knows wrestling but it's old school wrestling not the modern style of today.

This was a bad botch. Hope both Theory and Melo are ok. Good on the ref for immediately throwing up the X.

Yeah, I was watching part of that match and honestly, both of them were doing a lot of unnecessary dangerous spots.
These younger wrestlers need to learn that all these crazy moves are gonna shorten their careers.
Sometimes less is more, especially if your character is over.

LOL, these AEW fanboys (including their "leader" TK) stay having WWE on their minds 24/7 rent-free

The Young Bucks are lame because they do the same shit in every match, they have the physiques of a teenager, they cut terrible promos, and have zero charisma. Even their biggest fans have to admit they are not anywhere near as popular as they were when AEW started.

Not even gonna lie I don't see nothing special about them. Never has. I need to watch what people consider to be their greatest match.

I went back and watched this week AEW Dynamite this morning!!..It was alright!!..Good to see them back at Daily's Place!!.. ...They need to go back and do more shows at The Daily's Place again!!..I like the first match with Hangman vs Claudio!!..It was pretty good!!..I wonder how they going with Hangman character now??..Is he going to be good or bad??....The segment with Samoa Joe was good!!..I think its a good move that Samoa Joe is the champ now...I see good matches ahead with him being the champ!!......Julia Hart still got one of the best entrance at AEW!!.....The last match with Darby and Sting vs Powerhouse Hobbs and Konosuke Takeshita was a good one!!..They put on a damn good match!!..

It's was a good Dynamite this week...

As long as Vince has a hand in any kind of operations. No, as long as Vince is alive, I don't want to see JR back in WWE in any capacity.

How Vince hasn't given that man a fatal heart attack by now is a miracle.

Kenny Omega & Hangman Page VS Young Bucks (AEW Revolution 2020) would be a great place to start. It's considered their greatest match. For other Young Bucks classics I would suggest these ....

Motor City Machine Guns VS Young Bucks (TNA Bound For Glory 2010)

The Briscoes VS Young Bucks (ROH Best In The World 2018)

Lucha Brothers VS Young Bucks (AEW Double Or Nothing 2019)

Golden Lovers VS Young Bucks (NJPW Strong Style Evolved 2018)

Lucha Brothers VS Young Bucks (Ladder match) (AEW All Out 2019)

FTR VS Young Bucks (AEW Full Gear 2020)

Lucha Brothers VS Young Bucks (Steel Cage match) (AEW All Out 2021)

Happy watching.

Good looking card for tonight's show.

The four matches I'll be paying attention to are ...

Will Ospreay vs Kazuchika Okada (Could go either way but Okada will probably go over as Ospreay is close to leaving New Japan.)

Trish Adora vs Guilia (I wouldn't be surprised if Guilia dropped the belt here considering she's close to leaving. I personally would have another Stardom talent like AZM, Mina Shirakawa or Starlight Kid take it off of her but they may think Trish is ready.)

Eddie Kingston vs Gabe Kidd (Kingston matches have become must see for me. I love how much he leans into the All Japan strong style. He should retain here.)

Jon Moxley vs Shingo Takagi (This will be a war. Looking forward to it.)
