I think uppity coon is a horrible assessment. It's typical baby face shit they do.
The e problem with today's wrestling is the face has to be happy and positive. Cats like The Rock and Austin were allowed to be faces but still do heel shit. Nowadays it's all about selling merchandise and being able to take pictures with kids n shit. So that's why they do the faces nowadays.

I'm sorry but I don't buy that. You can be a babyface in today's wrestling without putting on a uppity coon act. This is just a flaw built into Bianca's gimmick that needs an adjustment. She's literally the only woman on the roster that does that shit. I've ignored it for a long time but it's really starting to get on my nerves.

I totally agree. I said a couple years ago it was hard to take her seriously when she is smiling the whole time. They need to give her a bit if a mean streak. I know the pony tail is I'd her identity, but it plays into the stereotype of a aggregated weave wearing hood chick. I wish she would lose it. she can have a mean streak and be a face, like Montez. I don't know who writes the promos for her and Naomi but they should be fired.

Again, she probably never intended it to come across that way but I definitely get the uppity coon vibe. It's just like what @EPDC alluded to. It seems no matter her circumstance she still comes down skipping and smiling. Becky or Bayley beats her ass she's still skipping and smiling the next week. It just reeks of a uppity house negro act. I hate it. I like Bianca but she seriously needs to rethink that part of her gimmick. You can still be the EST but stop all that uppity shit.
Bianca is trying to be a positive role model to little girls. Especially little black girls. What's wrong with that?
Every black woman in wrestling doesn't have to be Jade and be "that bitch" all the time. That gimmick is tired to me.
Yeah, she could have a bit more of a mean streak (which will come in time), but I'm okay with her character for the most part.

For the next two months people are going to complain that the E has a problem with Roman Reigns & the world title situation.
But I whole-heatedly believe that viewpoint is looking at the tree while missing the forest.

I actually like how the title picture is currently set-up like a arcade fighting game. The number one contender has to run the Bloodline gauntlet for a month before they unlock the Roman boss fight. Using the Bloodline in that fashion is a great way of making the show feel like it always has a champion, even when Roman is M.I.A.

The problem they're having now is a Saudi Arabia issue that needs to be addressed. I thought they only signed the Saudi deal because Vince needed a way to pay Brock that 'Floyd Mayweather' type money per PPV appearance while also helping to bankroll the XFL reboot. Well the Covid shutdown put a nail in the XFL idea before it could get going & Brock ain't getting used the same way under HHH as he was with Vince in charge. They really need to look into how to use and promote they Crown Jewel events.

These Crown Jewel event are glorified house shows. There's not a chance in hell that Roman's title run is ending on the other side of the world to the hands of Logan Paul. I imagine that the next two months is going to be full of Paul Heyman trying to hype up Logan Paul & the possibility of there being a title change. And I don't doubt the Roman can carrying Logan Paul to a good match. But once again .... NO ONE believes that the title is changing hands.

They're going to pause a hot feud between Drew & Roman for two months so that they can hype up a meaningless house show.

I think some of these Crown Jewels are already paid for and Nick Khan and the WWE Board of Directors aren't gonna turn down a free check!

So Bianca's ponytail plays into the stereotype of a weave wearing hood chick? How? And does Jade Cargill coming out every time and referring to herself as "that bitch" with her baddies play into that same type of stereotype or is it just a Bianca Belair thing for you?

I agree with you.Nothing is wrong with Bianca being happy and occasionally she gets pissed and aggressively goes after whoever she's feuding with. Hopefully they lean into the fact that she could be more of a tweener face and be more of a straight up badass instead of someone who has to be constantly provoked in order to show a meanstreak.

Claudio/Jericho was good but I hated that ending. WHY? The only way this makes sense is if Daniel Garcia takes the belt off of Jericho down the line and becomes double champ then leaves the JAS. OR TK is close to getting ROH a TV deal and needs Jericho to help establish the brand.

I gotta stay off Twitter while at work. But yeah that's likely the case. Cool for Jericho to add to his accomplishments.

The Acclaimed vs. Swerve And Keith Lee: I knew as soon as TK announced that there was going to be a rematch he was going to put the belts on The Acclaimed. They're too over right now.

Wrestling is funny how certain people just get over. They haven't changed their gimmick but somehow became super over. The same with Sheamus and the bruising brutes.
