Overall, SummerSlam was a good show and that last match was good blowoff to the Reigns-Lesnar feud (hopefully).
Hearing Michael Cole actually say the words "wrestling", "belt" and call the referees by their names was a welcome change.
He seemed relaxed as a commentator now that he doesn't have Vince screaming in his ear.

Good interview with him from 4 months ago on The Press Box ...

He should study Chris Benoit/Edge and AJ Style move sets he really could be a great wrestler

Thoughts on WWE SummerSlam ...

Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair: This was good. Sloppy in some spots but still solid for the most part. Loved the ending sequence with the Spanish fly off the middle rope into Bianca's KOD for the win. Bianca winning was the right call as it puts the story arc ending on her redemption from last year's Summerslam embarrassment. I loved the post match with Bayley finally coming out in a stable with Dakota Kai and Io Shirai. Becky finally turns back to babyface as the heel nightmare is over. Triple H already doing some good things to start off the show.

Logan Paul vs The Miz: Another good match. Paul looks legit fantastic out there. I got to give the man credit. That frog splash spot off the top rope through the announcers table was excellent. Loved the finish too. Paul beating The Miz with his own move.

Theory vs. Bobby Lashley: Went the way it was suppose to go. Lashley in a squash. Theory sucks.

Finn Balor/Damian Priest vs The Mysterios:
Decent match. I don't care for the Edge interference.

Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin: This was actually pretty good. The match structure was solid and both men gave it their all.

Street Profits vs. The Usos: Banger match. It could've went a little longer but good nonetheless.

Ronda Rousey vs. Liv Morgan: First of all the announcers need to stop with the whole Ronda is the baddest woman on the planet nonsense. She hasn't been that in 7 years. The baddest woman on the planet fought Saturday night and reclaimed her championship. Now onto the match. The worse match of the night. They need to take the belt off of Morgan but not put it on Rousey again. Both women suck. With Sasha coming back they should put it on her.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns: Basically just like every other Lesnar/Reigns match except let's throw in tables and tractor spots. Meh. Is this a wrestling match or farming? Hopefully they never have another match ever again in life. Please let this be it!

Overall very good ppv. Triple H's creative changes have been good as expected. All you had to do was get Vince out of the way and let the product flourish. I'll be watching RAW tonight for more changes.

Sasha Banks and Naomi reach a deal to return to WWE.....

I wanted this to be a surprise. They really dropped the ball. The should have had Becky double turn on Bianca yesterday, and Sasha, Naomi and Tamia come to the aid of Bianca to reunite B.A.D. There is a feud there, between the 8 girls that could rotate week to week up until Survivor Series.
Add Charlotte
You have to start creating female stable to gewt them air time. There are alot of female talent and not enough TV exposure.
Charlotte
Bayley
Becky
Io
Dakota

vs
Bianca
Sasha
Naomi
Tamina
(Dark Horse) Lash Legend (Needs a new Gimmick) but Lash and Naomi would be a dope team against Natalia and Nikita Lyons

There are other feuds you can setup between the following:
Add Carmella to Toxic Attraction on the Main Roster
Carmella/ Mandy/Gigi and Jacy Jane should become a faction

Doudrop
Nikki ASH
Shotzi
Xia Li
Alexa Bliss
Zelina
Asuka

Tag Teams:
Shayna Bazler/Sonya Deville
Dana Brooke/ Tiffany
Natalia/Nikita Lyons
Toxic Attraction

I will definitely be tuned in but my guess is this doesn't happen tonight, unless they have already agreed to a new contract with Sasha. If I am her, no way am I coming out to get them a pop and quick ratings boost if my contract expired in July. I need the bread before walking through the curtain. But who knows, maybe they worked something out as soon as he retired. We shall see

Sasha & Naomi will be paired with Bianca after seeing what Bayley stable did to Becky. Triple H should make Graves apologize on air after that remark months back.

god damn
that 5 minute promo did more to elevate the USA talent than anything the WWE has done with his buying WCW outside of the Cena open challenge

i dont want to chalk up everything to HHH but all accounts he cares about PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING History
if Roman gonna be part time you gotta make the USA and intercontinental championships matter...so far we on our way

Should make him apologize to them to their faces in the ring..then they stomp him out,his wife Carmella runs in and the same happens to her :roflmao2:
He likely called them both after making the statement after the backlash from social media. Still needs to make a public apology. Someone in the company needs to do so.

I worry about HHH health. Two live shows per week along with a PPV. He should get Heyman to help with creative and bring in writers who are actually fans of wrestling.

entertaining 3 way match and nice sequence to end it
nice seeing Ali get some shine and the long-term storytelling continuing with Miz selling the effects of the Paul fight

I know he was older but being a body dude and having an entertaining midcard gimmick, thought Vince would give him a look on the main roster
nonetheless seems like he keeping the gimmick and running with it...nice to see the reunion and the shared love the 'indys'

Lol I don't think he's a simp that makes no sense dude has very little respect for women.
Back in the day I used think Morris Day was the ladies man. He would sing about spending money on the ladies and what not. As I got older I realized having women spend money on me was really being a ladies man ie Prince portrayed in Purple Rain Apollonia selling her shit to get him a guitar and him in real life taking Sheila E to lavish hotels and buying champagne and later she finds out it was her money he was using. That's what I think about Ric Flair. Wrestling in your 70s is not a good look. Having 5 ex-wives and spending all of your money on them is not a good look.

I didn't say he was a ladies man I said he had very little respect for women.

Very good Raw tonight. Love the changes. Longer competitive matches, better pacing, new refreshed talent pool, solid booking, and making the United States Championship belt feel important again. It's like night and day between someone who actually likes professional wrestling and someone who was an out of touch senile old man. The only thing they still got to fix is the camera work with those annoying quick cuts and the DQ finishes but other than that I haven't been this excited about the WWE in a looooooooooooooong time. Keep up the good work Triple H.

The storytelling felt a lot better. And makes where the people who lost matches weren't treated like goobers in the process.
