Man I miss watching Kenta Kobashi wrestle. Dude is one of the all- time greats. He had it all. The look, toughness, versatility, charisma, and n ring psychology and storytelling mastery. He pumped out classic matches as routine as someone brushing their teeth in the morning. Dude was an absolute beast with it. He was one of the dudes that got me into watching "All Japan Wrestling" back in the '90s.

Xia is the Asian chick they did the comic book looking vignettes for on Smackdown.
They had him as the 2nd for Joe Gacy's whole cult bullshit where talks about safe spaces and God knows what else. Supposedly he wasn't picking up things in ring as expected considering his amateur pedigree. From his matches he was doing bare minimum. He wasn't even throwing many kicks and punches.
Dakota Kai is a small and first got attention as someone that Shayna Bazler roughed up to the point that Kai was scared of her for months. She did a good job being sympathetic and it helped Shayna come off as even more of a badass prick. Eventually standing up for herself got her firmly established a face until she made a huge heel turn at WarGames on her best friend. Solid in the ring and could be a heel or facebut maybe not someone that looks a future superstar. In real life her and Shayna are now a couple.
Bivens was being wasted so hopefully he can go somewhere where his talents as a manager can be better utilized. He wasn't interfering in matches, he wasn't cutting promos like that. He was just kind of there.
It's just weird that they gave up on him so fast.
They signed him Feb '21, had him on TV by the fall, rushed him out just to give him another "big, violent, weird MF" gimmick and then act surprised that it didn't get over just like it how didn't work for the last 10-15 people they had with similar gimmicks.
They gotta wait some shit out at least.

I don’t watch much WWE outside of NXT but it’s odd how quickly they give up talent and call ups. Dude was a former D1 football so he is an athlete. He young as hell and looked like Brock’s bastard. How the fuck you give up on him so quickly?
based on reports Bivens didn’t wanna sign a new contract so WWE got rid before he walked. Guess he figured he hadn’t been called up and if he did he would be wasted
