Thoughts on Rampage ...
Top Flight/Young Bucks: Fun opener. Amazing chemistry between these two teams. The athleticism and innovation is top notch. The Bucks experience wins this one. Looking forward to the development of Top Flight in the future.
Kris Statlander video package: Just offered a tease of Kris's new gimmick but didn't really tell you anything.
Dan Lambert/Scorpio Sky/Ethan Page/Paige VanZant segment: Lambert basically says that he's not going to give Sammy and Tay the match against Ethan Page and Paige VanZant. Sammy and Tay then proceed to tear up Lambert's BMW SUV with sledgehammers. Sammy and Tay can't be babyfaces at this point. It's weird because Lambert's group is trying to come off as heels but Sammy and Tay respond with heel tactics. The audience is confused as they don't know who to really cheer for. I like what they're doing with Sammy and Tay but the heel/babyface energy dynamic is off which is going to suck the life out of this feud.
House Of Black/Fuego Del Sol, Evil Uno And Stu Grayson: Good stuff. Fuego ultimately gets destroyed again. Need to get the trios division going because right now House of Black doesn't really have any strong competition.
Jamie Hayter/Skye Blue: I'm loving Skye's development. She sells well and her offense is gotten a lot smoother. She still hesitates a tad on certain moves but she's on the right track. If she continues to improve she can be challenging for titles in 6 to 8 months. Jamie on the other hand is a future star. Everything she does is solid. She needs to win the Owen Hart tournament.
Powerhouse Hobbs/Keith Lee: Good hoss match. Hobbs looked like a million bucks in this. Intrigued to see the inevitable tag match of Hobbs/Starks vs Lee/Swerve.
Good show. TK stepped it up this week.
