Although his appraisal was not contrarian or unique, it was still interesting to hear Bryant -- as rumors are swirling about a potential move to Italy -- share an anecdote about Brown while speaking to a Psychology class at UC Santa Barbara. While taking questions from the class, one student asked Bryant about his lone MVP award in 2008, and in order to communicate how much pressure was placed on him to perform for the Lakers, the All-Star decided to deliver a story about Brown. Best dude in the draft was probably Mike Redd who was a 2nd round pick. Jamal Crawford has ended up having a solid career though.

How do you kill the confidence of a former 1st overall pick. I mean maybe he came in with too much hype being Jordan's 1st overall pick but man you suppose to be cocky. Arrogant. I can see not living up to potential but Kwame acting like he never wanted to. HE was too scared too. That's crazy. I wonder if he had Kenyon Martin's confidence if he would've had a better career.

He was talking how grim Cleveland sports are...and mentioned Bennett.
