This show knows no bounds. Reality is checked at the door, the implausible becomes routine, and the impossible...well there is no such thing.

First of all, you can't drive across L.A. in an hour without a nuclear explosion much less resolve long standing father/son issues, and conducting numerous raids on terrorist hideouts.

Where do they buy their cell phone batteries?

Its called television. There is no reality its strictly for entertainment purposes and don't forget an entire season is the equivalent of only 1 day. Get a grip.

Just shows how easy it is to make a hit tv show...throw reality out the window and shoot straight for shock value...women love that edge of the seat, I know he didn't type sh!t.
 
I wonder if they'll ever have an episode of 24 when a victim turns out to have been lying about the weapons of mass destruction all along, thus plunging America into a costly and unwinnable war...

I can't understand why after every episode there is this serious commentary on some news program to dissect the implications of a fictional story. Well, it happened with the Cosby show so why not 24? :hmm:

The most ludicrous part of 24 was when Morris got that drill in his shoulder and then was back at work less than an hour later. Band-aid, new clothes, ready to go. And why wouldn't they have hired Donald Sutherland to play Jack's dad? Nothing against the actor in the role but Donald would have been perfect for it.

The nuclear explosion plot was not thought out properly, can you image the mass exodus if that was to ever occur for real?

I am a brother who can periodically get deep into some fantasy shit... TV, movies, usedta read comics. I admit I got a geek side.

24 is bad as hell. You don't get it, tough. Ain't neva been a mofo like Jack Bauer on network TV.

Best part about it, everybody is bad guys. It's political, in a nonpolitical way. Right wing bad guys, left wing bad guys, arab terrorists, russian terrorists, american terrorist.

Yes, I recognize the old standard "black president-world goes to hell" subtext. But the white presidents they've had have been a hundred times worse.

So yeah, I'm sure Condi likes it. Don't make me not like it. And apparently, the government is trying to get the show to do less torturing, makin' them look bad.
 
You should have realized this after season one when Jack's wife escapes from her captors only to hit her head and get amnesia. That's when I stopped watching the show.

Newsflash: Everything that happens on the show which unfolds in an hour(the hour u see/watch on tv) expands over a 4 yr period. Everything u see on the show 24 is based on what has happended during the past 4 years. Every season of that tv show is based on what has happened during a 4 yr span.

I assume u don't watch the show or eles u would not be making ridiculous statements. Only a complete idiot or someone who is autistic would interpret everything happening(terrorist plots & twists etc etc) in the space of an hour literally. To sound like a broken record, whatever unfolds on the show is based on what has transpired during the previous 4 yrs.

some people are just so angry and feel the need to hate everything that seems popular. Thats all this is, it's an hour of television each week to get away from reality which is why the show works because it is so overboard you know it cant happen. i mean really what do you watch then? if you don't like it don't watch but to complain that a tv show is unrealistic is just stupid.
