The Wire S5 Ep1 - Converted for Zune

thanks for this. I've got two Creative ZEN players and these work perfectly. i think formatting these for mobile media devices warrants its own thread. Good lookin.

Because these episodes look like shit unless you're watching on a Zune or other media player. Some people may appreciate this, some may not - but I took the time to convert and upload these files for the benefit of the board. If I had posted Eps 3 or 4 you'd be all on my nutsack, fucker. Go back to talking shit in the 'official thread'.

Hey homie what are you using to convert these. I got software to put real movies (blockbuster) on there but not shit that i've d/l

I use a program already included in XP and Vista: MovieMaker

Go to Start>Run>moviemk.exe

Import movie (It'll break the vid into time blocks, if your original file is in more than one part, repeat until you've imported each)

Ctrl+A to highlight all blocks

Drag onto the filmstrip at the bottom

File>Save Movie

Use the settings for Pocket PC

*Warning* Importing and saving takes some time, so don't expect to convert files quickly.
 
Another Question. I got some movies already converted for zune, how do i break it in parts. tried compressin it and the file still seems too big

Same method I outlined above, except instead of using Ctrl+A to highlight all the blocks just drag and outline half of them, and drag the highlighted framesto the filmstrip at the bottom. After completing the other steps, do the same for the leftover blocks.
 
Media Cell Video Converter is a free program on download.com that's easy to use. You can use it for movies for your cell or video MP3 player.
 
Just wanna say thanks again in this one. I was watching this shit a lunchtime today at work. Please post 3 and 4 went u cop it.
