yep. America is terrified of us. We've all seen netflix shows where they include one black man in the show, and he happens to be gay. one black woman always with a cac. The message they are sending is obvious.

Ooohh! I get sooo sick of that shit! You only have to go over to the sister show Fear The Walking Dead, where you have Victor Strand. He starts out as a despicable human being, which initially puts the auidience off to him. Even so, he has the charm, charisma and style of a regular brotha. While everyone else is running around looking like bums, he's dressed in the "good clothes", with an overcoat being his signature article of clothing for a minute. Then, he shows depth of character, only to reveal that he is gay. So, only a gay black man can pull this off?
This is also why they turned Shaft 3 into a comedy. They had to dispel the idea of Shaft being cool and having his shit together. Then, they doubled down by making the son an outright coward. Despite the changes at the end, most of the movie focuses on that trope.
And let's not forget Finn from the recent Star Wars: SuperRey movies. He was every coon, clown, coward stereotype wrapped into one. They finally gave him character growth at the end, only to reset him back to coawrd at the beginning of the next movie.
We had this discussion almost every week for more than 2 years in the TWD discussion thread when The Walking Dead was a popular tv show.

I tried watching this bullshit after years of hearing how good it was. I don't think I got past the 2nd season. The show was centered around CAC ness. I did not understand why so many black people were riding with that bullshit.
Hell yeah...plus their naming their first Black character T Dog. WTF

When the introduced her character. all she did was grunt and scowl. That show is the fucking worst.
