The truth must be revealed. BGOL was one of the greatest forums on the internet. The posters here made it into a legendary place where even the porn stars(such as Vanessa Blue AND SINNAMON LOVE*MORE ON YOU LATER BLUNT*) themselves showed up.

Call girls showed up here too trying to sell their product. How many remember that? The place was VIBRANT. Exclusive interviews with the likes of internet sex goddesses like Tiara.

The posters were some of the most talented guys in their fields and people were entertained for hours with graphics, intelligent conversations, pics, movies, and debates.

SOMEWHERE AND SOMEHOW this shit got fucked up and fucked up bad. I think it first started in 2004 when the forum got revamped/relaunched. It lost a lot of its top members during this time that would have never let anything like the above go through and if it did it sure as hell wouldn't have divided the BGOL forums as this Charlie Angel crap did.

HNIC saw he had a goldmine and decided that donations were a good way to keep the board afloat without coming out of pocket. No problem with that as we were all entertained with the board. The quality SLOWLY started to drop after that.

The board still had its members and one off posters coming in regularly to drop their material(DJ VLAD where YOU AT?). Something happened to the board when the DONORS thing came through. The board started to drop AGAIN.

Now I quoted all those things to prove a point. It is NOT THE 15 DAY members that has the board in a weakened position. IT IS THE DONOR stuff that has made the board become less entertaining. Most of the vets on here know this internet stuff is not that serious and didn't bother with the board anymore. It has suffered as a result.

THEN the thing like the rise of BLUNT became the new thing that entertained the board. People should know why the Charlie Angel threads REALLY got deleted. Read the quotes above again. Getting rid of 15 day members or limiting them is not going to help the board one bit. Sinnamon Love(who got DESTROYED on here back in the day) was on here when there use to be no donors and she created alter accounts such as Blunt to spew her rhetoric on porn fans or people in general. HNIC allows it just as he allowed other woman on here to be donors/superstars without even earning it.

The donation/donor thing was also done over the heads of those who didn't know better. HNIC once said the BOARD WOULD NEVER BECOME PAID SUBSCRIPTION, but it somehow has become this way WITH people co-signing it causing a division between camps. The board going to hell with the addition of this donor stuff is no coincidence.

HNIC NEVER got away with these kind of things before, but now he does with the newer members who joined AFTER the hey day of BGOL living off the past of what WE created in the mid-late 90's and beginning of the 00's.

HNIC now knows he is paid, but the traffic and entertainment on the forums is NOWHERE what it was even going back to 2004-5. This whole Charlie Angel thing turned into a STUNT and is being used to get MORE people to pay for the forum by having people wanting to eliminate the trial members. When you eliminate the trial members how is the board going to remain fresh or have new things added to it? THIS IS WHAT IS KILLING THE BOARDS!!!

I only brought up the Charlie Angel thing because that was the hottest topic on here for the longest time which reminded me of the old BGOL.

I see your point about things changing and the economy. However, let's also remember before the changes there were more people on here. The changes are probably what made people not as much into it.

The real reason behind what I'm doing is to illustrate how it doesn't really make that much sense to blame a part of the board for the way it has become.

I still love the board, but some of these recent stuff for some reason is getting politically correct when in fact the board itself is kind of politically incorrect by nature.

You are right that it isn't that serious which is why I don't get the outrage. It's the truth. A good portion of the board got killed off within just the year and a half much less than a decade ago.

You have to admit seeing the same posters against each other in repeated threads(such as those religious ones where the same people try to convince each other of their views which aren't going to change) is creating a redundant forum here.

I'm just saying maybe just maybe the restrictions are the cause of this. A new year and perhaps a new way to run the board. Why not try to make it more fun again?
