The True story of how DMX’s Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood was made.

X is the realest rapper we have ever seen. I know cats will fight it tooth and nail but he is the closest to doing everything in his rhymes. From robbing, stealing, doing bids, being homeless, being on drugs, fighting inner demons that he TOLD you he was fighting.

He may not have been the dopest MC or most lyrical, but to me is in the same vein as some of Pacs work, where wasn't overly complex but because of the emotion he put into, like other posters said you could relate. When I was on the super grind I put X in and nothing could stop me. I still run to X and DBlock 3-5 times a week.

Sorry but DMX was and is the realest. Biggie came from a middle class up bringing and 2pac was a back up dancer. They both glamourised the gangster live style they were NOT living.

Nothing was fake or contrived about DMX. >>>>

These guys are all artists. And Pac wasn't saying he was the hardest: I ain't big, I ain't buff, I ain't diesel, but fuck with Tupac and pop goes the weasel. And he knew he would die young. Dude was dealing with the US government. The biggest gangsters in this country. Was a gangsta in a different context. DMX never got sweat like that.

DMX was inspired by both of those artists. Respect needs to be given because they helped pave the way for a DMX.
