The Rocket Scientists' Guide to Money and the Economy - Accumulation and Debt. Are you confused about the economy, are you wondering WTF is going on and why huge bank bailouts seem to be doing no more than exacerbating the problem, then read the RSG - Money and the Economy. In only 50 pages you will find total economic illumination and enlightenment. Never again will you be confused by the rocket speak and bafflegab of those who want to keep the deep, dark, secrets of this world's economy their own dirty little secret.

If you have a website or blog, please feel free to post the full text of the eBook and book cover for all to see. The best way to end the economic bullcaca is to enlighten everybody about it's causes.

Irwin Schiff, father of Peter Schiff, has some great books. He was put in jail for writing The Federal Mafia. I'm reading The Biggest Con right now, which goes into some of the contents I see in this book. This "Rocket Scientist's" guide doesn't go into the unconstitutionality of the Federal Reserve or IRS, Social Security and inflation though

If you type his name into google you'll see some of his lectures/interviews

I read the first couple of pages, and the author seemed too ambiguous.

I looked for his credentials, and saw that he is a Sociologist. Be wary of this guy.

I thought it was going to be a discussion of money, finance, and debt.

Instead, it turned out to be an intro on money, and two thinly-veiled stories about our economy

I suppose the baker in the first story is the banker. And, Fred is the Fed.

As was said in the previous post, he is way too ambiguous for someone versed in economics, but it was a good read nonetheless.

It wasn't boring and I managed to finish it in one shot. So, that alone is an accomplishment for its length.

About the Author...

Before writing this book, I didn’t have a clue about economics. I took an Economics 100 course as the first class, in the first year, of my failed engineering degree. I dropped that class after only one hour of lecture (couldn’t stand it) and was subsequently RTDed (i.e., required to discontinue) for failing all my other courses.

Learning from my mistake, I registered in university a second time and stayed as far away from the economics and engineering departments as I could manage. I subsequently went on to finish a PhD in Sociology.
