But in answer to your question, I've been to the US several times and know a quite a few Americans, funnily enough the Americans I know are very well travelled.

I don't know anyone personally who goes around boasting about their lifestyle. I'm a working/middle class guy, so most of the people I know are at the level.

As a Black American, we have some unique and incredible things that we established once here. We are deteriorating it now, but what we once built was unmatched culturally. People are still copying it worldwide.

Also, the diversity of the weather here is awesome. I particularly love the south, where I live, and they say there is no better weather on the planet than the city of San Diego.

They say we don't travel (well I do), but even if you travel across this country, you till see A wide array of habitat, and guess what? They will all speak english, so you have the ability to explore further. Not that it's BAD to speak another language, but it's damn sure convenient when you can travel 3-400 miles and still be in the same country, with slightley differnt culture, without having to deal with a language barrier.

I've known artists from Norway, who are unknown in Denmark- right across the Border. The language and culture is so different that the artists in one country rarely ever get heard less than 300 miles away. But here comes an english speaker, and BOTH countries know him.

I say all that to say, it's all relative. I would damn sure encourage Americans to get out and see what we're doing wrong, but it's very much en vogue to bash America for stupid shit.

Also, and most importantly, NONE of those countries can enjoy those luxuries without AMerica being the military power that it is. They don't HAVE to do it, cuz America's their DADDY.

actually that only true if that particular country is one of the ones handin out loans to this country. They have the ability to enjoy those luxuries because more than likely there governments decided to take care of its citizens instead of in america where we mostly look out of the rich. If anything the world is more dangerous for them as long as the US has its military dominance.
