LOL, did McSweeney really try to step to Rampage tho??? I cant wait til next week! Kimbo is gonna get it in! SHould be interesting.
 
Wes Shivers' cardio was embarrassing. I have NEVER seen a fighter leaning his ass on the cage, pulling on his shorts as if there's a sub waiting to come off the bench. These ex-NFLers are realizing that MMA cardio isn't like football where you go HARD for 20-30 seconds and then rest. There is no rest unless you're being choked out.

Sweeney's shit was a joke as well. He was nearly as gassed as Wes and hes the best fighter Rashad has. It was comical to see him then have the audacity to talk shit to Page in the preview at the end.

maybe at the end of the season if someone gets injured he can come in as replacement.

Indeed. He won te fight in my opinion. When they called the decision i just knew Wes won. I thought the 2nd round could have gone either way but he clearly won round 1 in my opinion.

Wes' poor conditioning was understandable to some degree (his size, lmited expereince and background as a nfl'er) but Sweeny was very disappointing with his conditioning and display. He was the #1 pick for crying out loud.

for the big difference in mma experience sweeney didnt look to hot.

the IFL was a MMA promotion.

but if you mean anything can happen in MMA you're right but really he has almost no chance of catching dude.

But I mean you guys will see. I was hoping Kimbo could have got one of those easy guys. I'm sure the UFC will keep him around for a fight or two, he's got too much name recognition not to.

Kimbo fought a bunch of people off the streets
and the first real MMA guy he faced KO'd him with a short jab.
 
Man if Kimbo beats big country it will be one of the biggest upsets in the history of MMA

Roy Nelson is a black belt jiu jitsu guy, who should be the best fighter in the house... he had arlovski on his back for a while, and could have won that fight if it wasn't for a standup if I remember it correctly...

sure anything can happen, but i'd just be shocked if this matchup doesn't go to the ground quickly.


And yeah big Shivers had the fight won... the rush, punch takedown strategy was working until he got tired. That is one drawback of HWs... they are strong as shit but when you get over say 240 lbs it gets really hard to maintain good endurance cardio it seems

I was shocked no one on Rampages squad disputed that shit. I'm sitting over here like what the fuck did I just see? He had dude winded and didn't do shit. McSweeney's kicks were just bouncing off Wes. That shit wasn't phasing him. Catching his breathe is what was beating his ass. McSweeney lost that shit unless some editing was going on that I missed.

None of what you said has anything to do with Kimbo being a hard hitter. If you can look at him, his fights and his workouts and still question whether he's a hard hitting sonofabitch then i dont know what to tell you.

he doesn't look like a bodybuilder so I guess he isn't a hard hitter. Kimbo hasn't KO'd anybody of note to this point, if he turns it around more power to him.
