The OFFICIAL SEC WINS 3 BCS TITLES IN A ROW VS OKLAHOMA

I'm not a SEC fan because I went to a Big Ten school... but you have to be delusional to question whether the SEC is the best conference in college football. Shit is not even close... 3 BCS titles in a row and then 5 of the last 10 tells the story... stupid to even keep debating the shit... USC might be the best "program" in the nation..but as a "conference" the SEC wins hands down RIGHT NOW.

BIG 12 DEFENSE SUSPECT ALL YEAR LONG, NOW OFFICIALLY BUSTED!!!!:lol::lol::lol:

That big 12 defense actually looked pretty good against Florida.

We made mistakes late where as Florida made their mistakes early.

Fuck Tebow, I gotta hear about this fucker for another year.

What really fucked Oklahoma up was those two drives deep in the red zone and they come up short with no points.. goal line stance and an interception. That should have been 14 points...6 at a minimum... not only the points..but killed momentum and confidence...

Yea, I know that Stoops was playing to win but I don't understand why wouldn't he go straight up the gut on that 3rd down with the QB?

Then 4th & goal and you go for it?

You've got a 6'6'' TE, LOB THE BALL UP!

The INT in the redzone was just a good play by the Florida defense.

The ball should have been caught (like the other INT) but the Florida dbs just made the better play.

At half time the score at the least should have been 14-7 OU.

It is what it is.

That was a good game and Tebow was held in check for the majority of it.

Percy Harvin = Should have received the MVP of the game.

1. a bad business venture with some co-workers in houston.
2. 2 lawsuits when the business failed-relocated to new orleans.
3. partnered in a new consulting company - had to find office space downtown NOLa-its hard dealing with NOLa bullshit!
4. problems with the lady... had to break camp. fuck it.
5. decided to remodel the crib, then the hurricanes passed right thru this bitch: Gustav passed right over my damn driveway... tornadoes tore thru my new patio, etc.
6. stress got to me... had to break out for a vacation.
7. settled in to the new place after dealing with the now broke insurance companies.
8. about to divide & develop 20 acres behind me in a cattle/farming venture with some white cats from down the road.

all that shit wore me out... didn't have time for much else except 4 - 6 hours of sleep every now and then.

how ya been?

i'm still doing business in houston... it's just slow and i have to "repair" my business rep there by easing back into the clique and stating my case to individuals face-to-face.

re-route your flight thru NOLa and i'll guarantee you the best food, fun, and music (jazz) you've ever had. my new office is right in the middle of downtown in the nicest building in NOLa... walking distance from the dome and bourbon st.

mardi gras coming up in a few... come on down!!!

don't make me drive to houston. :hmm:

no, he is correct.

the 02 national championship belongs to the miami hurricanes.

He said Ohio state never won a BCS championship

2002–03 season

These BCS bowl games were played following the 2002 regular season:

* Friday, January 3, 2003 - Tostitos Fiesta Bowl (National Championship): Ohio State[12] (13-0, BCS #2, Big Ten champion) 31, Miami (FL) (BCS #1, Big East champion) 24 (2 OT)

PS Miami is considerd the 01 champs

2001 Regular Season

Undefeated No. 1 Miami won the national championship by defeating Nebraska in the first Rose Bowl game in 55 years involving teams from outside the Big Ten and Pac-10. The Huskers, who spent much of the season as the No. 2 team in the nation, benefited from a rash of upsets on the final weekend of the regular season and in conference championship games to earn their spot in the national title game. Nebraska suffered its only loss of the regular season in its finale against Colorado. After the spate of upsets, Nebraska edged once-beaten Pac-10 champion Oregon for the No. 2 spot in the final BCS Standings to advance to the Rose Bowl. The Hurricanes' Rose Bowl victory extended their winning streak to 23 games.

man, i ain't fixing to read all dat shit.

the bottom line: the refs made a bad call in that osu vs miami game.

it is called, "the worse call in college football history."
it extended the game and gave osu another chance to score and they did.

miami still had to stop them, but they should not have had to stop them.

the osu trophy belongs to miami.

yeah okay........ If you were going by some your own opinion tip and not facts you really shouldn't have replied to my post to ole dude but whatever :dunno:

Cherry picked...please elaborate. Do not fault The SEC for the PAC 10 being a weak conference. It is basically a given the USC is going to be the conference champions every year. But lets look at the SEC. How many different teams have been the SEC champions. Not to mention the tough in conference games that happens in the SEC. From player skill set to the stadiums. Name one school in the PAC 10 that USC competes with when it comes to recruiting. Do not blame the SEC for the WACK 10 for not splitting their conference up into two division and having a conference championship game. No SEC team is Cherry picked. In reality the SEC teams are battle tested from their brutal schedule and that is why they win championships.
All I'm saying is this, without a REAL playoffs and championship, everything we say here is really pure speculation. What if Utah actually played Florida in the championship and won? What would we say then? We all know that stats and previous opponents look good on paper, but how many times have we seen the "better" team get their asses handed to them.

Do you honestly think Utah would of beaten Florida, especially since Urban Meyer know the entire play book for Utah.....The only reason why Utah beat Alabama was because Florida did the same exact thing in the SEC Championship against them in the 4th quarter.....Im not taken anything away from Utah cuz they played a good game but they wouldnt had scored 21 points in the first quarter if they did looked at wat Florida did in the SEC Championship game.

I dont understand why so many people be on USC jock when they havent beaten anyone...They beat the same teams over and over again and lose one game to a team the suppose to blow out..They only beaten 2 quality teams the whole year and everyone wants to say they have a good team.:smh:

And when I mean quality I mean teams like Ohio State,Texas,Florida, and etc(the real teams).......not no cupcakes like Oregon and Oregon State.

i've got my word, my own eyes, my thought process, and they help me form my own opinions.

that referee made a bad call... a very bad call and osu ended-up scoring.

but it's cool. that's what... 2 NC's in the last 50 yrs for the big 10?

The greatest offense in CFB history can't even crack 20 points against, arguably, a team that didn't even have the best defense in the SEC this year.

Texas Tech goes up 14-0 against a young Ole Miss in a bowl game that's held IN TEXAS and Ole Miss comes back to beat them.

Texas struggles to beat a team that LSU rape-choked last year in the title game.

Oklahoma St. gets smacked around and upset by Oregon.

Missouri barely beats the 5th or 6th best team in the Slow 10.

And SEC was what....5-2 this bowl season and Alabama didn't even have their best player out there cuz Saban suspended him for the game. And we upset "the unstoppable" Ga. Tech and a division champion from the ACC in boston college? We RAN the Big 12 and ACC.

You Big 12 fanboys talked so much shit all year...but when it came to proving how strong your conference was...you got your brains bashed in. So basically, what we've learned from this season was this...YOU COULD BEAT EACH OTHER BUT YOU CoULDN'T BEAT ANYBODY ELSE.

You were only able to beat the teams in your OVERRATED conference. And b/c of that...yall were able to swap high rankings all year...you motherfuckers didn't deserve your rankings.

Pac-10...I wanna apologize to you guys...numbers don't lie...yall went undefeated...not impressive wins...but yall beat teams from other conference and never lost.

If Charlie Strong doesn't get a coaching job after his masterpiece on thursday....Obama needs to step in.

I mean really, UF squeeks by OU and now the WHOLE conference is overrated??? OU SHUT UF DOWN!!! Did you hear what I said??? That 60th ranked D took it to UF and shut those muthafuckas and overrated Tebows ass down. UF D came to play and thats the only reason they won. All that SEC Speed... MYTHBUSTED. Texas won the game didnt they??? All that SEC school beat em by more shit is Jr Highschool. If thats the case give that Sears trophy to Texas because Texas rung up 45 on that same OU D that gave UF fits. Mississippi won the game, simple and plain. I dont think Mississippi is a better team start to finish, but they won the game. You think Ga Tech is a great win for LSU??? Man stop your reaching right there. UGA barely beat their team from the "slow 10" with two first rounders on offense ans that preseason number one ranking. Bama got blown the fuck out by Utah... UTAH!!! Because they lost an O linemen??? GTFOH!!! You cant make excuses for one conference and then ignore shit for another. Your clearly biased, but most fanboys are. The fact is some teams lost and some teams won, that shit dosent make one CONFERENCE better than the other, the SEc didnt even beat the best team in the Big 12 so how you gonna hang your hat on that shit???

What the hell are you talking about?

Florida had the 5th ranked defense in the nation.

South Carolina was ranked pretty high too but they got blasted by Iowa in their bowl game.

Texas Tech goes up 14-0 against a young Ole Miss in a bowl game that's held IN TEXAS and Ole Miss comes back to beat them.
Over rated TT from the jump.

Texas struggles to beat a team that LSU rape-choked last year in the title game.

Maybe the same uniforms but not the same team.

Fuck Texas.

Oklahoma St. gets smacked around and upset by Oregon.
That wasn't an upset.

Oregon was #2 in the pac 10 and they were playing a home game.

Oregon was in the national title hunt last year with Dennis Dixon.

Missouri barely beats the 5th or 6th best team in the Slow 10.
See TT remark. Missouri was over rated.

They gave up 400 yards to Ill. at the start of the season.

And SEC was what....5-2 this bowl season and Alabama didn't even have their best player out there cuz Saban suspended him for the game. And we upset "the unstoppable" Ga. Tech and a division champion from the ACC in boston college? We RAN the Big 12 and ACC.
OU didn't have their best back so that whole, "saban suspended..." shit is a moot point.

The only team that got their brains bashed out was TT.

OU got beat by florida by 10 points and Jesus and the Florida gators (averaging 45 points per game) put up less than half their average in a home game for them.

They won but Big Game Bob really blew the game with his play calling.

If Charlie Strong doesn't get a coaching job after his masterpiece on thursday....Obama needs to step in.

I agree but it's his fault that he married a white woman in the south.

He better head to a different conference

No, I don't. My point is we really need a playoff. The big boys, with all the cashola, would shit on themselves if an Oregon State played against a Texas Tech in a BCS championship. Look at Div IA BBall. How many upsets do you have in March Madness?

OU is a damn joke

Stoops certainly is.

He hasn't produced a title since his 2nd year.

I don't know if we expect too much since he set the bar so high in his 2nd season but something has got to give.

All the talent in the world but he just can't seem to get it done in the post season.

I remember that I read that his yearly goal is just to win the big 12, I just chalked it up to him not having a good squad that year but now I'm starting to believe that is his real goal yearly.

I was glad that Tony Kornheiser made Mike Wilbon eat crow on this point on national TV yesterday during PTI. Wilbon hated all damn year and talked much noise. Now that the SEC has prevailed once-a-dayum-gin, all of a sudden Utah is the champs.
